Rated 4 out of 5 by CJM111 from Works....but..... I like the printer...quality is good and seems to print and scan well. However, I cannot keep it connected to my network...when my computer goes to sleep, the printer disconnects from the network, so when I wake my computer and try to print, I have to go to HP Smart to get the thing to work. Pretty frustrating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by J Cummins from Smart Tank Smart Choice The instructions for setting up my new printer didn’t work. They instructed to go to a website and connect to the wifi. I must have entered my wifi password 20 times, reset, restarted, turned the printer off and restarted. It wouldn’t connect. So I did it my way. I went online and downloaded the new printer making it the default printer and it automatically connected to the wifi. Then I followed the instructions to connect my mobile devices. I wish the tiny screen would light up. It’s very hard to see. Making copies took some learning as there are only two buttons to push. I haven’t faxed or scanned yet. I have done the two sided copies. Filing the ink nearly takes the entire bottle. I didn’t dare see if the whole bottle would fit. I’ve never had a smart tank before. It took me a while to figure out how to fill the ink. Instructions weren’t clear enough. Good thing I’m mechanically inclined. I didn’t have to call for help. First hour spent trying to connect to the wifi following instructions. Once I downloaded the printer software however it only took 30 minutes to get everything up and running.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bluejeanchristine from Nice printer, hope it saves on ink costs Nice printer, quick and quiet. Photos printed seem a little dark and I haven't found out how to adjust this. Wish I could scan from the printer itself rather than the app, but once I got that figured out was happy with scanning 7 sheets from the ADF.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jhcor from HP Smart Tank 7301 Printer I like this printer very much so far - easy to use and appears reliable. Only had a short time - hoping it will prove to be as good as my 10-year-old OfficeJet Pro and cost me considerably less in ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alexander L from Tank ink is the way to go All printers should utilize the tank style of ink. I can't speak to printing pictures. But for every day printing it can't be beat. I like that HP upgraded to having a paper tray to load. First Gen had a back load and would usually get jammed or dusty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jeff In Corvallis from Exceptional printer with a tiny bit of feedback for an improvement. Overall i am very pleased with this printer. I like the square styling, the ink bottle fill method, and the print appears to be excellent. I also really wanted to have Dye based inks for the colors. I still have to run it through the paces more, but overall i am very pleased. I also bought one for my father and will be getting it set up soon. I especially like the ability to print directly from my phone and the apps that are on it. I tried it on a picture of my grandson that was on Facebook, and sent it directly to the printer. Fantastic! My only negative feedback on the printer at this point is on the paper tray. It's design with a flip up lip that helps stop the paper from flying off the printer can ding the edge of the paper as it comes out of the printer. I will need to leave a piece of paper on the printer whenever i need a perfect edge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by The Grizz from HP Smart Tank 7310 AIO Printer Overall setup was very easy with only one error during scan setup, system faulted out. After BIOS update error disappeared. Only real issue is that print quality is sort of poor for a printer at this price range. I believe that it is due to the tank ink that is used instead of the ink in print cartridges. Saw this same issue on another brand that I had that used tank ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PAB Qc Canada from Like they say, works right of the box Installed last week. Installed as per instructions and all went without a hitch. Printouts are nice clean and crisp. I really haven't tried pictures yet though. More than fast enough for me. Installed first on my Mac then sent a link to my wife's PC and she installed it with no problems. Printed with both our IPhones also with no fuss at all. Just installed the HP Smart app and that went well too. Scanner works fine from the Mac and phone app also. Can't really find anything bas to say. Very happy so far. There is one point though as mentioned in other reviews, it would be nice to be able to scan directly to the Mac or PC from the printer but I can live without the feature. And knew about it before I purchased from the reviews so I have no complaining to do about that. Great printer and here is hoping it just keeps on printing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MartinhH from A decent, but seriously flawed product, Would not buy it again. Nice printer, though in a couple of respects a step back from our previous HP (Officejet 6820). One is just that, at this price, a duplexer should be included. But, ok, should have bought an even more expensive printer. But the other issue is just idiotic design: unlike with our old printer, you cannot scan by just putting a sheet in the feeder or on the glass and pressing "scan". You have to go to your computer and open an app, choose "scan" etc. Stupid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sissy46 from Pricey Ink Cartridges. So far so good. I was trying to get away from the cartridges. They say the ink in the wells will last for 2 years. I guess we will see. Anyway, the ink will cost around $35 instead of $200. I was enrolled in the instant ink program, but they do not offer it for the ink well printers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RKrambs from AWESOME SO FAR! So far, I love this printer. We started off to a rocky start, but after some research and speaking with HP support things are going well. It was a little quirky trying to get it to set up correctly with wifi. I had to download the driver a couple times to get my computer to find it. The scan procedure instructions were a little blurry and I had trouble getting the HP Smart app to install in my computer. After that finally happened, I could figure out how to use that feature. Again, the installation and user guides were a little wonky. I especially love the two sided feature, it is effortless other than selecting it in your printer options when you go to print. I work as a volunteer for my church and it will save us on paper. I noticed from the start that it made a squeaking noise that got progressively worse. After I used it for a couple of days, I decided it was not going to go away and reached out to support via online chat. I was disconnected twice and finally gave up. To my surprise, a few minutes later I received a phone call from HP support. I forgot her name, but she was very helpful and told me exactly what to do. I scoffed to myself that it made no sense and was not likely to work - but it did!! So, when you read in the support forums that you need to unplug it and wait a few minutes and plug it back in for it to reset - just do it. Thanks again HP Support. They even made a follow up call the next day to ensure all was going smoothly.
