HP Envy 6555e- The best all in one printer
This printer has exceeded my expectations. Set up was easy. I encountered no problems whatsoever. The only thing I can say is easy peasy. I also love the ink program. I don’t have to run to the store to look for ink. This is a great printer. The color is beautiful and printing fast.

BOOOOO
This is the replacement to the same model printer that got stuck on the "jammed paper" error when there was not a paper jam. My new HP 6155e continually goes off line requiring me to restart my modem and re-setup the wifi on the printer. Very tedious and untrustworthy device. When it prints, I cannot complain, but these desktop printers are problematic.

Thoroughly Disappointed
Set up was quite easy and almost effortless, the printer and scanner worked well for a week but after 1 week the scanner stopped working. I attempted to contact HP to get it fixed, but unfortunately the link I had to HP wound up being a scam!!!!!!! Needless to say I am thoroughly disappointed

Manual arm to catch printed pages is a cheap piece of junk
This works just fine, but my older hp had an arm that would automatically come out to catch the printed pages. This printer does not, so I end up finding the printed papers all over the floor. Could I stop everything to run upstairs to pull the manual arm out before I print? Sure, but why should I? Also, there were no other options in this price range except for a white clunky looking machine. My cheaper hp with the automatic arm was black and sleek looking. Unfortunately the hard drive died or I wouldn’t have replaced it.

slow
This printer is too slow. It takes too long to start up and is slow getting the signal to print. Also, having the power button in the back is a bother. However, the printer works and prints acceptably.

Great all in one printer
This all in one printer is worth the price! It prints fabulously! Compared to my older model hp printer this one is much more high tech. It has a touch screen that makes connecting to internet a breeze. It also prints double sided without having to switch the paper around. Although, it does print fewer pages per minute I think it evens out in the end because the print quality, compared to my old printer, is much better. I haven’t used the scan feature so I’m not able to review on that part but otherwise I would definitely recommend this printer.

Okay for minimal home use
Okay for minimal needs. It only prints on one side of the page. I cannot figure out how to make it print on both sides. This is not useful if you have large print jobs and it keeps dropping the Wi-Fi.

Lack of knowledge
Your support personnel should learn their job before they tell a client the reason I couldn’t install the printer was because the internet wasn’t working properly and I should call the company. The real problem was the settings in the router. I found this out from one of your competitors when I tried to install their printer via WIFI. Prior to this problem I had always bought HP printers. I gave your printer away.

My opinion
works ok when I figure out how to use it. The ink cartridges are really hard to replace. I messed up one ink cartridge trying to figure out how to install. Basically, I do not like it. my old HP printer was easy to work with. I miss it.

Hp Envy 6155e printer
This printer I never got to use as the plug would not stay in. To try and reach a real person at HP is impossible. Though I had paid for extended warranty, I was given no phone # to call. They want you to do everything with A I - and I want a REAL HUMAN TO TALK TO. I have always used HP and love their printers but because of their phone system will ve to go elsewhere. A I SUCKS.

Runs out of Ink Quickly
The printer prints slowly, and runs out of ink quickly. I use it in my home office and I print lots of documents daily. Once I received the printer, after the tedious setup process, I printed several documents and quickly ran out of ink. The ink cartridge capacity leaves much to be desired. My previous printer was much faster and the ink lasted longer.

Problematic experience with HP Envy Printer
When I first received my ENVY printer, the printer to power cord was very loose. Called HP. They sent me a new cord. Unfortunately, this one was even looser than the original! Called HP again on 7/22/25. They sent me a new printer that arrived on 7/23/25. Completed set up and returned original on 7/24/25. We will see how this one performs!

Doesn’t Stay Connected to WiFi Well
The HP printer is light and small enough to fit anywhere. It has modern looks, however the wifi connection disconnects very often requiring us to shut it down and restart the printer often. It can be very annoying. I am hoping this is just a temporary issue before I send it back.

Good Printer - Fast Talking Sales Staff
The HP 6555e is a decent printer for the price. Remember the printer is sold to maintain their main sales product - the ink cartridges. The previous printer, HP 6458e had numerous problems with wireless connectivity to the HP computer. Had to call for tech support many times and was told it was a poor performer and I should upgrade to a better product. HP sales promised I could keep mu HP Instant Ink account if I upgraded and I believed that was fair since I was spending hours with the 6458e. Then when I made the deal and set the computer up I was told my Instant Ink account was closed and I was given a more expensive plan with fewer copies of printing. Rip off and they finally made a deal to give me some promotional cards with value to ease my pain. Be careful, they made promises and backed off - a bait and switch.

Poor is too Good a Rating
Set-up used to be smoother for your printers. Since the first time we replenished the supply of 8-1/2" x 11" paper, we receive an error message every time we want to print an 8-1/2" x 11" sheet because the "paper does not match." Instead, we must press an "Ignore" button to print, so truly remote printing is out of the question. It takes 5+ minutes to print one black-and-white sheet in "Draft" quality. When trying to print "Normal" or "Best," the printer gives up, printing a couple of inches of the sheet at most. The scanner worked the first time; however, the printer no longer lists itself as a scanner, and using the computer software cannot overcome this flaw. Time to pack the printer up and make a warranty claim.

HP Envy 6155e Printer
Printer 6155e has many problems. Problems are: 1) Printed text not dark enough. 2) Printer keeps disconnecting from my HP Envy laptop. Have to periodically remove and add the printer in settings on laptop to get printer to print. 3) A new ink cartridge 68 lasted on three weeks and I don't print a lot. 4) Printer does to sleep periodically. Have to power printer off and on to get it to connect to laptop and print. Bad printer.

Dislike my new 6155e printer
unlike my other HP printers that easy to use this isn't. The touchscreen is tiny and off to the left side, the electrical cord falls out of its connector, you ae forced to use an user-friendly HP Smart app to anything that's not basic copying or printing. I am retired computer analyst soI city non-techie people. also, everything is Windows based and I use a Mac. I am about ready to return it
