I love the printer, but the HP representative that tried to help me get the instant ink for 3 months did not know what he was doing. so now I will probably have to buy my ink from E-bay. I feel like I got ripped off because the ink did not come with the printer.

Not what I expected
Good printer, just not what I was expecting. It doesn't come with a cable to plug into the computer so if you are on a non-wifi machine that is a problem. The ink cartridges are very small and run out too quickly. I tried to buy some at the local Office Depot and they are not available, so you have to get them on-line. I tried to order some online and the product numbers do nor align, so I don't know if that is the right thing to order or not. It seems the manufacturer wants to limit and monitor your usage. I should have paid more for a different machine.

Excellent for home use!
This printer exceeded my expectations. The setup is easy, and the software (app) makes it easier to use. The fact that it operates entirely on wifi might make the printing experience sometimes a bit sluggish, and I honestly would appreciate having a cable cord in case wifi isn't working or not an option. The printing quality is great!!! For the price, this product is just amazing!!!

I love the compact size of this printer. Color copy, scan and Bluetooth are all reason I bought this printer.

Easier said than done
still have trouble getting the printer to connect. Takes a long time. After two weeks it seems to be losing its connection and I’ll have to call again for help - third time.
When it does print it’s fast and clean.

Simple and easy

Not able to use.
I have not been able to use it. It is sitting here, all lights flashing for 2 weeks. Everytime I start your process, I have a different problem. I tried to upgrade to Windows11, but the message said I don't have enough room. Next I tried to follow your directions for Windows 10. I went through several steps and then received another message about too much of something, I needed less of (GHZ?) Don't know what to do.

Not recommended, just too bad
Very difficult setup specially wireless. No easy way besides needing a cable to do the initial setup. I am a IT guy and still had to struggle for 20plus minutes to have setup completed and the scanning part still does not work. Stay away from this printer

Great printer, horrible ink policy.
I didn’t realize I have to use HP ink or else the printer wont print.
It is a printer and it does it’s job, it’s my 3rd HP deskjet if that tells you anything.
I will not sign up for the ink plan because I hardly print, and when I wear this printer out I will not buy HP again because of your ink rule.
I will be watching because someone is going to file a class action lawsuit for the chip in your ink cartridges that will ruin the printer forever.
Until I read that about the ink, I loved everything about HP, but now I am mad, sorry for the poor review, but you lost a loyal customer.

I'm glad I didn't recycle my old printer yet...one more paper jam on this 2855 piece of junk and I'm digging out my old one. I can find no reason that the flat when inserted paper would bend and curl in the paper feed, but it surely does.

Problems with Delivery
The printer hasn't arrived and I could have ordered it from Amazon for the same price having it delivered the same day. I have 2 of the same printers in other locations - - they work fine. I don't know about this one. I also know that having the "Instant Ink" costs more than it's worth. I'm not going to subscribe to it because of the monthly cost...

The printer does a fine job printing, but getting it set up was difficult and took several tries. The world needs a simple to turn on printer without needing an internet connection to the manufacturer to get it able to operate, just a plug and play unit with a usb connnection.

I hate my printer
Buy Canon! Printer not even on HP printer list! This is my second HP printer. I have reset wireless network, shutoff phone, remove app and reinstalled, turned off printer, unplugged, watched YouTube tube videos. All I want to do is print and copy and I certainly DO NOT want to subscribe to ANYTHING just to print.

HP printer
HP holds your printer hostage until you join paper and ink refills. Twice my 6400 locked up until I ordered from the ink refill. I couldn’t get my 2800 printer working so I called HP and the helper on the phone said I was using a substandard brand of ink cartridge. I told him that I was using the ink that came with the printer. I finally gave in and joined printer and paper HP replacement again. It immediately came on line and printed for me. I have nearly full ink cartridges on both of my printers and yet HP has sent me replacement cartridges 3 times in the last two months! Give me a break! Never buy an HP!

How do I get the red iight on the i button to turn blue/green? The instructions are WAY about my ability to determine how to connect this part of the printer.

How do I print on cardstick paper?
Thank you for your question! It is unclear what is being asked. This HP DeskJet 2855e All-in-One Printer will be compatible with paper up to 145lb paperweight. As long as the Card Stock paper has a paper weight at or under 145lb it will print just like any other print.
