Rated 1 out of 5 by Barbieanne:-) from “Good Printer, But HP Support Is a Nightmare” The printer has been working well so far. While I haven’t explored all of its features, it has been reliable when needed. However, HP’s support has been the worst I have ever experienced. The initial setup process went smoothly until the final step, where the printer needed to be linked to my HP account. After an excessive number of hours spent on virtual chats, reviewing support pages, and speaking with HP support representatives, I eventually learned that this last step is what makes the printer’s serial number recognizable under my HP profile. Without the serial number appearing in my account, I was unable to create a support ticket—leaving HP support unable to assist me because they couldn’t see the serial number on their end. I followed every troubleshooting step provided, including resetting the printer to default settings and even resetting my own network. Yet, I kept encountering the same error message at the end of the setup process: “Exit setup and try again later to resolve this issue. If you continue to have issues setting up, contact HP Support. (Error Code: EBSOOP0013)” After multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach a live support agent through standard channels, I eventually contacted HP’s sales support. It took two separate attempts before I was finally provided with a different support number. At this point, I had been dealing with this issue for almost two weeks, and my patience was running thin—especially since I was trying to activate the free toner trial, which I was unsure would still be available given the delay. My final attempt at resolving the issue was even more frustrating. I spent nearly four hours on the phone with four different representatives, going through the same troubleshooting steps I had already performed countless times. While I understand the need to verify the issue, as someone in the technology field, I also recognize when a process is leading nowhere. By the end of this exhausting call, the issue remained unresolved, and my case was escalated. However, every follow-up call came while I was working, and when I attempted to return the call using the number provided, it didn’t work. Each new interaction felt like starting over from scratch, and ultimately, I was disconnected with no follow-up. After four days of not having the time or energy to repeat this process, my support ticket was closed. At this point, I am unsure whether I will keep the printer, as I still cannot connect its serial number to my account. I have yet to receive a clear answer on what other functions this might impact beyond the toner subscription. The rating I provided reflects my experience more with the short than with the printer itself, which has performed well so far. However, when it comes to future purchases, I will think twice—if not completely avoid—buying from HP again. This experience has been extremely disappointing, particularly because I also make purchasing decisions for my employer. If this level of support is what can be expected, I certainly will not be taking the risk of ordering a large number of HP devices.

Rated 4 out of 5 by M.J.B. from Great Printer for the Price Great printer for the price. Really like the feature of copying on both sides. Would recommend this printer. Only downside is the original ink cartridges only come with about half the ink of a separate purchased one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by d2bf from Compact, versatile and useful We got this printer because we needed a compact yet all in one printer and the HP Envy 6152e works flawlessly. it is compact yet it does everything we need including printing, including two sided printing, copy and scanning. We really like how easy it is to setup and since it can connect via WiFi we can print from our phone anywhere we are, or from any other device. The application from HP is very useful to do that, print wirelessly and it has helped us a lot. We can send a mobile fax, scan on the go and it is just easy to use. The tray can hold up to 100 sheets of paper and it is plenty for us. The touchscreen is very useful if we do not want to use the app or the computer to change the settings. It has been a perfect printer for our home, for printing projects, homework and more. And it comes with 3 months of free in with HP+ activation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zara3 from The Perfect Family-Friendly Printer for Speed and The HP Envy 6152e is an exceptional printer, particularly well-suited for families, especially those with kids who need quick and reliable printing. Since purchasing this printer, it has exceeded my expectations in terms of speed, ease of use, and print quality. One of the standout features of the HP Envy 6152e is its ability to handle a variety of printing tasks with remarkable efficiency. Whether you're printing school assignments, colorful projects, or even creative activities like coloring pages, this printer delivers consistent results. The setup process was straightforward, and the printer connected seamlessly to both Wi-Fi and my devices, making it convenient to use from anywhere in the house. The print speed is impressive, ensuring you don’t have to wait long for your documents or photos. This is particularly helpful in a busy household where time is of the essence. The quality of prints is excellent, producing sharp text and vibrant colors that meet the needs of both professional-looking documents and fun, kid-friendly prints. Another feature I appreciate is the Instant Ink subscription. It eliminates the stress of running out of ink unexpectedly by automatically ordering refills when your levels are low. This has been a lifesaver in keeping up with my family’s frequent printing demands. Plus, the cost-effectiveness of the plan makes it a practical choice for families on a budget. The printer’s compact design is also a bonus—it doesn’t take up much space, making it ideal for a home office or shared family area. It's not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, fitting well into any room's decor. Overall, the HP Envy 6152e has been a reliable addition to our household. It’s user-friendly, efficient, and delivers high-quality prints that cater to the diverse needs of a family. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable printer that balances performance and affordability.

Hello, Can I use this printer to print, scan, and copy wirelessly without access to a WiFi network? I need to be able to use this wirelessly with a phone or computer, and can not guarantee internet access.

Asked by: Wirelessnowifi
Hello. Thanks for your question. You can use WiFi Direct. WiFi Direct lets you print directly from your device to an HP printer without needing a router. The printer creates its own Wi-Fi network that your device connects to, allowing you to send print jobs directly. You will also be able to scan.

The one thing I couldn't stand when I got the HP Envy 6055 was that I couldn't place paper on the printer and scan it, I had to scan with my iPad camera. That was VERY frustrating. With this printer, can I just hit 'scan' on the printer?

Asked by: BDC1
Thank you for your question! You can scan by using the touchscreen on this HP Envy 6155e. The printer has a 2.4" color touchscreen that allows you to navigate print jobs. To scan, you can touch Scan on the control panel. You can also scan using the HP Smart app, which allows you to scan from your mobile device or the printer. Once scanned, you can store the document on your device, email it, or upload it to cloud storage.
