Very quiet, only feedback is that the scroll wheel has little resistance, so it’s hard to only scroll one tick. Besides that, it’s a great bang for the buck

my favorite mouse - smooth, comfortable, quiet
I like the HP 280 silent wireless mouse enough that I now have three of them and use it as my daily driver. The near-silent button clicks are especially helpful since my mouse is near my USB speakerphone. The mouse is also very comfortable, tracks well and moves smoothly. Highly recommended.

I have the HP Wireless Silent 280M Mouse connected to a new Mac Mini. I keep experiencing skip and stutter behavior when moving the mouse. I tried a different mouse pad with same results. Really noticeable on web pages.
