Easy peasy
I hated printers! I would drive 15 minutes to our town library to print documents for 10 cents a copy. My employer thought that was unreasonable and said to buy a printer. I was expecting hours of hassle settling it up and connecting to my internet. It took me longer getting it out of the box than to start printing documents from my iPad. So awesome! HP has come a long way! Love it!

Great printer
The printer arrived perfectly timed. It saved me from having to leave home to get copies of document. The only problem I've had was when I wanted to copy something to my computer. It said to go to a certain site, but when I did, the site had been closed. I don't need it to print every day, but it's nice to have when I need copies. It's not overly big and is very attractive. It's great to be able to print 2-sided without having to reinsert the paper.

Standby for a costly computer specialist setting up your printer.
I am neither pleased nor happy with HP management /executive board for eliminating set-up and operating instructions with packaging of the equipment purchased by ME. I was unable to set in up without timely professional and costly help. I still would like and desire an HP printed copy of the operating instructions and image illustrations.

Buy one of these printers. You won’t regret it.
Santa brought it for the wife this year because he was told to. As it turned out, it is a tremendous improvement over that “20 pound doorstop” she had before. She runs her accounting business out of our home and this little beauty cuts as much as an hour out of every workday.
It does what she wants it to do. Every time. Quick and simple.
So, thank you Mr. Hewlett, we got what we paid for.

Superior Quality All In One Printer
I have been using HP color printers since my first computer in 1998. This is my first laser HP printer and I am very pleased with it. I purchased this printer in December 2025 from the HP website while it was on sale. This is my daily "go to" printer and it handles everything from printing to copying to scanning. Changing the toner cartridge is very easy and HP provides a free UPS label for recycling the used cartridge. I highly recommend this all in one printer.

Complaint about HP product support
This is a good quality standard laser printer. My problem with HP is that my previous HP laser printer was perfectly good too, and working fine - but I had to throw it out because HP would "no longer support the software." This is a transparent trick to force customers to buy a product that should not be needed - "planned obsolescence." I was forced to consign a heavy piece of plastic and metal to contaminate the environment unnecessarily - irresponsible policy by HP! And my reserve laser cartridges are now useless.

Slow machine - No support
Machine has been okay. Support, non-existent from a practical standpoint. It doesn’t print or scan as fast as they claim, only about 50% as fast as stated. It doesn’t support 5G, which it took me a long time to figure out, as I never could reach support. I couldn’t register the product as the support site wouldn’t accept the serial number. Mind you, I had prepaid for premium support and couldn’t receive any.
So, in short, the machine works about 1/2 as fast as claimed and there is no way for me to use the support I paid for.

I don't read the instructions soooo so far I got my copier up and running easily,now there are items that I was used to from my cm1415 printer--- so now I have to find how I make darker/liter, smaller/bigger etc etc----so a quick start guide wud be GREAT!!!

HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3101 swd Printer- Great Printer, Poor customer service
I purchased the printer to replace my aging HP LJ 1320 which served me well for many years. After a few false starts, HP Tech support resolved minor compatibility issues with my two Mac laptops to my satisfaction. I purchased the new HP Printer directly via phone because the rep assured me that HP had a return policy for unused and used toner cartridges for my old printer. I payed a premium price from HP for the new printer when compared to the purchase price from local vendors. After three lengthy phone conversations with HP I have been unable to return my unused Q5949X toner cartridge for credit or exchange as promised; nor have I received a shipping voucher for the return of the partially used cartridge for recycling. All three persons I spoke with the last time assured me that this was in fact HP policy; they also each confirmed my contact info in case we were disconnected. When we were disconnected, I expected to be contacted promptly to resolve the issue. I've waited about a week since then hoping I'd receive an email or call or mailing authorizing the swap and return cited above to no avail. I was assured that they found that I'd registered the new printer so there should be no issue in completing my request. It's been over a month and three attempts on my part to complete this task.

HP- still my favorite printer, with caveats.
This is our third HP laser printer. over the last 31 years. Our first one was bought in 1994. We had tried different inkjet printers, but none were very reliable, and durability was lacking. None lasted more than a year or so. We always came back to HP Laser printers
I like this latest version, except for the ink ( toner) buying system. HP seems to want to have a monopoly on selling VERY expensive toner, so has made it difficult to buy aftermarket toner cartridges, and on some printers, made buying it automatic, as a condition of using their printers. I don't agree with this, even though It is no big thing to me, I don't use a printer often enough to worry about it. However, it irks me that a company would use underhanded schemes like this to make more money, and eliminate competition in the toner marketplace.

Save yourself time and money and buy an Epson
After a long period of time on the phone with a Hewlett Packard employee discussing my need for color cartridge(s) and explaining that my last printer was a lemon, I was shipped a new black color printer. I hope you noticed that I said I discussed in detail my need for color cartridge(s)! Hewlett Packard only agreed to refund the purchase price even though the mistake was entirely THEIRS. I hired a technician to come to my home to install a new laser color printer only to find I had been shipped a black color only printer. Their mistake is inexcusable. My cost was over $200 for THEIR MISTAKE. Hewlett Packard gouges its customers with the cost of toner and should be ashamed for the business practice of "Gottcha!"

If you’re looking for a printer that prints fast, this is it. I needed a laser printer to print my documents. I have no complaints. You can get over 2000 prints per toner. It automatically prints both sides. The key point of this whole printer is me scanning documents. It connected seamlessly to my phone and computer. I would definitely recommend!

Easy to use
Setting up the printer is tricky at first but once it’s set up it’s easy to use. It can be set up in Chinese and I can print through my phone. To print from my phone, I just need to connect to printer’s Wi-Fi and use HP SMART APP to print. It also prints fast. The only downside is it doesn’t show me the print preview via the app.

Perfection !
This is the first ink jet printer that I have owned. I am using this for my home office. It was so simple to set up . I was printing from it within a few minutes. I can print off claim forms and payments super fast. This is so much better than the one we have at the office . It doesn't sound really loud when printing or copying documents. Overall I am super impressed with it.

Amazing printer!!
My partner got this printer for us and it's been such a welcome change! While he uses it for his small businesses, I've been able to use it for schoolwork and art creation. It's incredibly reliable and fast. Our past printer was constantly having issues with connectivity and needing repairs, so it's been so refreshing that this printer just WORKS.

I recently got the 8135e printer, and I must say that it has significantly enhanced my home office. It was easy to set up and began printing promptly. I replaced my outdated laser printer with this HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3101sdw and I am so happy that I did.
This new printer is so much easier to install and extremely fast compared to all of my other printers. I can honestly say that I had it unpacked and operating in 10 minutes flat.
I was accustomed to hitting print and then striking up small talk before going to retrieve a contract or agreement from the printer until I found that I can now walk over and a two sided print will already be waiting in the printer for me!
If you need a black and white printer with scanning capabilities then this is definitely the printer for you.

As a small business owner, it's important to me to have a fast, reliable, and easy-to-use printer. This one is just that! I have previously had trouble with printers that are challenging to use or frequently have errors. This one is simple and does exactly what it says.
It was extremely easy to set up - no time wasted installing new software or troubles connecting to the computer. It even came with some ink, which was nice. I used it immediately as I received this printer just in time for all of the paperwork I needed to print out to start my business.
It's also extremely fast! This was something that surprised me, as I've never had a LaserJet before. Very convenient when I need to print out a large number of documents.

Amazing!
I replaced my old HP inkjet printer with this laser printer, and I am so happy that I did. It prints out documents super quick, whereas when I used the inkjet printer it would take ages to print out multiple pages. I no longer have to worry about when trying to print a black and white document when I run out of a random color, even though the black ink is full. All in all, if you’re looking for a black and white laser printer, this one is a no brainer.

HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3101sdw Black & White is a seamless experience. I am beyond impressed with this purchase. I bought this as we use HP laserjet printers at my work and thought it would be similar but I must say this one is better! I have used other printers in the past from various brands but this one has it all not to mention the wireless printing has really helped up throughout my time in grad school. The scanning feature has also been a tremendous help when scanning in and organizing my handwritten notes. Highly would recommend to anyone looking to buy a one stop shop for printing and scanning at home!

When I initially and purchased this product, it scanned well. Abouts 2 mos ago, everytime I went to scan a document, it appeared that my laptop and the scanner "uncoupled". Then I had to reload the software to work and now it doesnt work at all.
