i needed a small printer to print out assignments from and I couldn't have chosen a worst printer. It always something wrong from it constantly disconnecting from the WIFI to the print head not being aligned when I changed the ink cartridge. I am so livid if it was still possible to return that's what I would of did.

I wish I had noticed that this model does not function as a copier, only a printer.
Works fine as a printer, but just as often I need a copier and this is no help. My fault for not noticing, I guess.

Low End but Effecive, Economy Model
HP is a solid brand; however, you get what you pay for in the models. Choose the one best for your needs and always check the ink policy. You are forced to buy HP Ink replacement cartridges, somewhat slow, not quiet, and doesn't have a catch tray. On the upside, the HP app is convenient for printing. For very minimal usage, this model is okay.

Ink subscription is Shady
I replaced it because previous HP quit connecting to WiFi and could only print directly from desktop. This one was easy set up but plug was wrong size and fell out of printer. Had to use old printer cord which thankfully fit. Then when it was low on ink But still had sufficient it quit and wouldn’t print until I replaced the starter ink. I have seen reviews on AMAZON where printer wouldn’t work without the ink subscription. Very Big Brotherish!,

Same as the model 2600 with the same problems just a newer model
The product looks and acts the same as the old model of 2600 series. Just newer software but ended up with the same problem I had with the previous model. After all the hassles I went through, I will keep using it until it dies but will never again buy this HP Product. The tech department just runs the tests as described by someone in the company not really taking into consideration of the user.

Okay printer
It really just works when it wants to . I think the wireless connection could be better being that it is a wireless printer . It worked perfectly fine at first but less than a year later and now it’s really unreliable .

This thing, brand new out of the box, never connected to the internet without a fight & effectively stopped working after being used about 5 times. Very frustrating and expensive mistake. I replaced it after less than a year out of sheer frustration with an Epson. The Epson has worked flawlessly so far. The “instant ink” option was confusing and irritating to try to figure out when I needed refills - especially since the printer wasn’t actually PRINTING!

Wouldn’t recommend
The printer works fine, the problem is with the ink. I’ve had issues getting cartridges to work. I think they try to force you to get the ink subscription but I print very infrequently don’t want to spend money every month on ink I’m not using.

Won’t hold a network connection, no drivers found for laptop connection, icons are not intuitive
Instant ink cartridges were too large, printer stopped printing entirely when HP ink reported the HP ink cartridges weren’t ‘HP Instant Ink’.

Printer kept disconnecting from the Wi-Fi and the house and Wi-Fi is very strong eventually P upgrad
After working with the tech of the phone and even giving her access to the printer, she could not get the printer to connect to the Wi-Fi at her house, even though I have been connected multiple times and even though I was able to do it myself several times on this occasion, I could not do it and she could not do it so she eventually upgraded the printer at no cost me that was good but …..

Paper tray and and printed copy.
The paper tray can only hold 3 sheets of paper to print. Very difficult to open the tray where the printed paper comes out.

Don’t waste your time
Unless you print a lot this is not a good choice. If you select a plan to print so many pages it’s one Ava done and prints a lot of blanks so you actually lose money. They don’t “carry over”. So let’s say you buy 75 pages but print 20. Next time you go to print you have to purchase more pages!

Good printer for the price economical but ink replacements costly
i print color/b&w photos, good to fair quality. Ink replacements costly and run out quickly. Suggestion to HP convert or upgrade this printer to tank reservoirs. One big issue i had from the very beginning was the process of startup not user friendly took several attempts, very frustrating. Purchased printer from Walmart.

Internet connection
For the first month the printer was excellent. It was a little slow but it did its job. For the past two months the printer has had trouble connecting to the internet. I followed the step on the Hp app. There has been resolution.

It would be a great printer if I could actually use it but because I don't have the ink subscription I can't use my friend so it was a waste of money and I think it's ridiculous that I can't use my printer without taking out the ink subscription I paid for the printer why should I have to take out a ink subscription just to be able to continue to use my printer it's not like I'm renting it or something

How do I get the red iight on the i button to turn blue/green? The instructions are WAY about my ability to determine how to connect this part of the printer.

How do I print on cardstick paper?
Thank you for your question! It is unclear what is being asked. This HP DeskJet 2855e All-in-One Printer will be compatible with paper up to 145lb paperweight. As long as the Card Stock paper has a paper weight at or under 145lb it will print just like any other print.
