Rated 1 out of 5 by KV*16 from Utter Waste of Time and Money This is the worst product in the world. It never seems to work, and when I try to get help on the HP site, it doesn't recognize the product serial number. I've spent hours today trying to get one document to print and am literally in tears. I've had it for years and its maybe worked correctly 3 times. Seriously, don't waste your money. This product sucks and HP support sucks just as much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from An enormous piece of garbage I bought this 2 years ago and It worked well for about a week. Constantly needs driver updates which then immediately delete themselves, never connects to a network properly, constantly needs cleaning. How is it that the printer my parents owned 30 years ago that you could hear running across the street works better than this thing?

Rated 1 out of 5 by JBoone from Only prints when it wants to Printer pulls 2-3 pages at a time when printing. Also doesn’t like to print emails, only prints partial lines. Sometimes the printing is fine. Other times only pieces of words /sentences are visible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hp customer-longtime from Mixed Review The printer itself does a wonderful job printing, however, it keeps disconnecting from it's driver. Twice I had to call hp support and twice I was scammed. They asked to access my computer and to make a long story short asked for over $400 to correct my problem. I could have purchased 3 new printers for that amount. It doesn't make sense but I love the printer itself just not the stress that has come with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by K2ri from I have no other choice, but to go out and buy another printer I spent the last few hours trying to get this to connect to my wireless. I have followed the instructions implicitly and the printer just does not show up. Unfortunately, I’ve been very ill and the printer has been in a box for months. Cant even remember where I got it. Ill just have to take the loss and trash it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MDoran from Needed to Read Specs More Closely First I love the color of the printer and the instruction sheet I was able to print was beautiful- clear and strong print. It does not work with my 5 G network so I returned. HP tried to be very helpful. It took three days to get it figured. Probably a good choice of printer to use with a 2.5 or smaller WIFi network. Also takes a lot of ink and color cartridge has all three colors in one cartridge so must be replaced when any one color runs out. Doesn’t print many copies in a minute and stand up paper feeder only holds a few sheets. So just be sure you read all the specs and see if this really good looking and light weight printer works for you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Alabaster from I have read a lot of reviews on 3 of your printers before I decided to purchase and I am glad I did. I do not need an expensive printer as I only use it for mainly letters or notes as references and occasional self made forms. After reading all reviews I am afraid to purchase anything from HP. Your prices for smaller printers is reasonable but your lower priced items are not functioning. I made the mistake of purchasing a new HP computer with all accessories and I have been more aggravated and wasted so much time trying to use HP programs. I had Microsoft for 27 years and never did I have such difficulty learning their programs which I used when I had a business and now just personally. Your programs are designed more for professionals who need so much of what HP has put into their programs. It sure would be nice if some genius at HP might develop simpler programs for people that are seniors and never worked with computers in their careers. I spend hours trying to do simple things from your tool bars and without clicking on the icons I sometimes can't find the icon I want! But this is not the issue at this time. It is the failure of the computer or printer. Also I have a HP processor and whoever designed or built it did a lousy job. There is the power button on the PC that is so recessed that it actually got stuck inside and had to get someone to come in and open it up to release it. Why wouldn't they have made it 1/4" longer so it would be easy to push in and to press to release? My HP printer also has given me many problems with several sheets coming out at the same time. When I turn on the printer all the sudden blank sheets of paper start exiting. The PC is so badly assembled that there is a gap where to can see the internal light come through, also letting fine dust getting inside. I am not a complainer most of the time. I am one to write complimentary letters when I know someone has done something exceptional. But I see on HP's lower priced equipment, quality is not there. I am not happy with the printer I presently have, the 2755 which I understand is no longer available and replaced by a 2755c. I wanted to upgrade but looking at similar printers the reviews were not so good. This is why I chose fair for the products I looked at.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Not easy to connect to at all. I would not recommend this printer. It is not easy to connect to with my laptop. It will not set up corrctly in my printers to select. Constently getting error messages when I try to print. I will buy a Canon printer that is much easier to connect to with my Lenovo PC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JenCee from Great for small spaces and small-ish work, with limited scanning capabilities This printer doesn't have a flatbed. This is pretty obvious, but what may not be so obvious is because there is no flatbed, the scanning capabilities is quite dismal. It cannot scan more than an credit card size a thickness that can be rolled up through a roller. And do this with much care. So if you're looking to scan more than paper-thin documents, then I'd suggest considering forking out a little more for a flatbed. Outside of this, it's compact and does its job well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nikollinei from Compact and Easy(ish) to set up I love how compact this little printer is. The noise level is comparable with other ink jet printers I've had previously. Print is clean and comes out at a medium speed. Not the fastest and not the slowest either. Set up was fairly easy with the HP Smart app on my laptop. There were some issues where it took a while to find, or appeared to disconnect after selection but re-selecting worked fine. My total set up time (from unboxing) was maybe 20 minutes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Compact, Easy To Set Up This all-in-one printer is compact and takes up less room on my desk than I expected. It's easy to set up and comes with easy instructions. Printed pages look great. The only things I don't like about it is that it's noisy and jerky as it prints. All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase. Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mark N W from Undecided I was unable to set up the printer, not sufficient instructions so after searching online for quite some time, I finally found a phone number to call because chat was less than useless. After I finally got tech support, after an hour things were perfect, copies clear, etc... then my color ink showed empty and the only way I could print things was by removing the cartidge. Big mistake since Instant Ink said it could not read the content of the color cartidge so would not send me a replacement. Afte ANOTHER phone call to HP who referred me to Instant Ink, I may be resolved but since I installed the printer, with tech help,it's been a week with no ink and no use, so I'm undecided on the printer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JoLor from Be aware if you scan a lot I wasn’t paying attention when I bought this printer that the only way to scan is through feed and not glass… my error. The scans aren’t always perfectly straight which doesn’t happen when you scan on glass. But that’s my only complaint.

Purchased a replacement ink, used the printer tools to clean printheads and align and even then, not working. I will never purchase another HP product in my life, quality of HP has gone done the drain. Scanner on this printer sucked since day one

Rated 3 out of 5 by DWDBev from INSTALLATION DISASTROUS !!! The printer actually works great, it's extremely responsive and fast, I have it configured to both a desktop and a laptop and that all works great, my PROBLEM is the EIGHT hours of torture I went through attempting to get the printer recognized so that I COULD configure it..Every time I got ONE issue resolved, ANOTHER would crop up, when I fixed that one a NEW problem would appear, the most frustrating new device install I have EVER experienced. The printer being WI-FI enabled I expected it to be recognized by my router and then both computers...SIMPLE, RIGHT? but NO...that did not happen. Even after it was working fine on both computers I could not sign up for instant ink BECAUSE your computer in the sky DID NOT RECOGNIZE it. I had to bail out of my instant ink/paper order and simply order the cartridges manually..

how does it compare to 4650?

Asked by: Donareddk
Thank you for your question! The HP 4650 is part of the OfficeJet series. This is a Deskjet 3755. A better comparison would be something in the same series of OfficeJet printers. The 8035e is a good choice.

what is the difference between deskjet and office jet?

Asked by: Clamity
Thank you for your question! The HP DeskJet series typically has two ink cartridges whereas the HP OfficeJet series typically has 4 different cartridges. Also, the DeskJet is designed for much less frequent printing than the OfficeJet as well. OfficeJet All-in-Ones will feature Auto Document Feeders, which the DeskJet series typically doesn't. These are a few of the many differences between the two printer series.

I have a HP Photosmart C4480 all-in-one printer that use hp44/45 ink cartridge that work good but unable to find the hp 44 color ink cartridge.  Therefore, I need to replace it for home use.  Will I be able to replace it with the HP Deskjet printer 3755?

Asked by: sar15
Thank you for your question! The HP Deskjet 3755 isn't quite the level of the printer as the HP Photosmart C4480. A better comparison will be with the HP Envy Inspire series. Also, the HP 44/45 cartridges are not used in any current HP printers.
