I purchased this 9025e to replace my 8620 that I have had for years. The 8620 still works but I wanted a newer more updated machine. Received it and took it out of the box, followed the basic setup instructions and the problems started. After the plug in step came the put cartridges in step, well one of the cartridges was leaking and I had to contact support with no way to move forward without doing so. It took about 40 minutes with the tech, who was outstanding in his support and patience, but it took awhile. Even after getting it up and running, over the past two weeks I continue to have cartridge messages saying "Printer is having problem communicating with Cartridges." This time it is the Magenta cartridge. I really like the printer, it is attractive, fits well into my home office, prints beautifully and fast for my purposes. Had no problems connecting to WI-FI. The Scan to Email feature was worth the cost, instead of using the old HP Scan app. All in all, excellent choice, but if the cartridge messages keep coming up I am going to have to use my warranty and have it replaced.

HP warranties for all products

All of our products come with standard warranties, including our computers and computer accessories. Our consumer PCs and printers come with one-year warranties, and our commercial PCs and printers come with one-year or three-year warranties. HP warranties ensure that you’ll get the most mileage out of your HP technology. But there’s more you can do to get deeper and longer coverage on your purchases.

HP care packs

An HP care pack is the ultimate way to safeguard your HP tech. With an HP care pack, you can:
  • Increase the duration of your warranty
  • Expand the coverage
  • Add extra protection to your HP product
Most HP care packs provide coverage for your product for 1, 2, or 3 years. Purchasing is easy. You’re always given the option to add a care pack to anything you purchase on the HP Store, but you can also buy a care pack in the months following your purchase.
Care pack coverage begins on the day you purchase the product. So, if you buy an HP product in June 2019, and you buy a 2-year care pack in August 2019, your coverage will be from June 2019 to August 2021.
The coverage you receive depends upon the care package you select. But most HP care packs include:
Get an HP care pack for your product so that it’s covered through any and all circumstances. We offer separate care packs for consumer and commercial PCs and printers.

HP post-warranty plans

An HP post-warranty plan is a great way to prolong coverage over your purchase after the warranty expires. Here’s how the post warranty extension works:
  • If you buy a post warranty plan before your original warranty expires, then coverage begins the day after expiration
  • If you buy a post warranty plan after your original warranty expires, coverage begins on the day you purchase the post warranty
You can buy a post warranty plan 90 days before your warranty expires, and up to 30 days after it expires. Post warranties are a great way to make sure that your tech can be repaired, replaced, or reimbursed long into the future. You’ll never have to go without product protection.

Monitor coverage plans

You don’t have to buy a separate care pack for your monitor. When you purchase a consumer desktop PC, an HP monitor, and an HP care pack in the same order, your care pack will cover both your computer and your monitor.

The risk free care pack program

HP.com offers a risk free care pack option when you buy an eligible 3-year care pack on select consumer PCs. With our risk free care pack, you can get a rebate at the end of your coverage so long as your PC has not had a service event during the time of coverage. Keep your receipt and fill out our rebate form when your care pack coverage ends.

Advanced data protection

Our care packs don’t only protect your HP tech from being damaged - they also protect your data in the event that your laptop is stolen. When you buy an HP laptop, include a warranty with LoJack protection. With LoJack, HP® can lock or delete the personal data on your computer if it’s stolen. You won’t ever have to worry about thieves prying into your stolen data.

Count on reliable service

HP® has a huge variety of services that can assist you if your device is damaged or if it’s “acting funny.” You can use HP Support Assistant to diagnose problems and get automatic fixes. We also offer technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On our support site, you can find answers to commonly asked tech questions, get product manuals, and view our customer forums that are moderated by HP experts. You can also get direct support from an HP technician.
When it comes to repairs, HP® makes it easy to get your tech fixed by professionals. We offer a convenient “Pick-up and Return” service, and we’ll even pay for expedited shipping so you’ll get your refurbished tech back in no time.
