We also suggest the “Direct to Finish” option when the HP Indigo DFE connects directly with smart finishers. The DFE passes the imposition layout directly to the finisher device, so that the finishing station can set up automatically for the job by the time it’s finished printing.
This prevents lengthy and error-prone setup times and allows you to operate the finishing devices with a more novice workforce.
