This printer is intended to work only with cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip, and it uses dynamic security measures to block cartridges using a non-HP chip. Periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. A reused HP chip enables the use of reused, remanufactured, and refilled cartridges.⁸ Contribute to the circular economy with HP Planet Partners⁹ and our PVC alternative media profile database.¹⁰

Disclaimers
- HP Latex R530 Printer requires less operational space than any conventional 4x8 ft flatbed printer, which typically occupies over 28 sqm. This allows for better space efficiency in customer facilities.
- Target customers for the HP Latex R530 Printer traditionally use a Print & Mount technique, using rigid material and sticking a self-adhesive vinyl on top. With the HP Latex R530 Printer, they would print directly on the rigid material, saving on average 250 m² of self-adhesive vinyl per month, thus reducing the amount of material used and disposed of.
- UL ECOLOGO® Certified HP 832 and 873 Inks meet a range of stringent human health and environmental considerations. For certifications, see https://www.ul.com/EL and https://www.ul.com/gg.
- Recycled plastic is expressed as a percentage of the total plastic weight. Post-consumer recycled content is based on the definition set in the EPEAT standard for imaging equipment, IEEE 1680.2.
- For HP's large-format printers, HP PrintOS Production Hub is compatible with HP Latex printers and HP Stitch printers. Check the complete list of compatible models at https://www.hp.com/go/printos. - The HP Sustainability Amplifier program helps customers reduce their environmental impact through self-assessment, resources, and recognition with an HP badge, not an official eco-label. Recognition is subject to approval for credibility. Program is only available in English.
- The new maintenance cassette has at least 50% longer life (liters of ink) thanks to a 50% longer cleaning cloth and a new ink collection unit that helps use 100% of the cleaning cloth for all users compared to the previous model available in the HP Latex 700/800 Printer Series.
