Scratch-resistance comparisons are based on testing of third-generation HP Latex Inks and representative hard-solvent inks. Estimates were made by the HP Image Permanence Lab on a range of media.   3. HP Latex Inks were tested for Hazardous Air Pollutants, as defined in the Clean Air Act, using U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Method 311 (testing conducted in 2013), and none were detected.
  4. There is a broad range of media with varying odor profiles. Some media may affect the odor performance of the final print.
  5. Printing with HP Latex Inks avoids the reactive monomers associated with UV printing. Acrylate monomers present in uncured UV inks and UV-gel inks can damage skin.
  6. HP Professional Print Service Plans are compatible with the HP Latex 1x5, 3x5, 630, 7x0, 8x0, R, 1500, 2700, 3x00, and FS Printer Series, as well as the HP Stitch Printer Series.
