Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Good Replacement for 10yo HyperX Cloud This was a good replacement for my ancient gaming headset, a HyperX Cloud from about ten years ago. I tried my daughter's headset, another HyperX Cloud (USB), maybe about 4 years old, but my friends complained that the mic wasn't great, focused on high sounds and losing the low end. As I normally use plugs not USB, I looked at the reviews of this HyperX and decided to give it a try. It works great and friends say the mic is much better. I do miss the fit of my old HyperX, but the new one works well. Honestly, I'd give it 4.5 stars of 5, because I still find myself missing the fit (and maybe slightly better sound quality?) of my old headset after a few weeks of use. If I could suggest anything, I'd offer the buyer the option to receive a complimentary short-length Y to connect to separate mic and headphone ports (my original came with what must have been a two-prong connection for speakers among other connectors, and I found this very thoughtful).
