Product is miserable, and I am an HP fan
This is the fifth ink jet printer from HP that I’ve purchased in the last couple decades. It is awful. The instructions are terrible. The display is too tiny. I’ve tried to cancel the automatic ink replacement to me which I should have never signed up for, and I can’t get it stopped.

Make that sale! Then dump the customer.
This company could improve by offering live product support. Not a chat, not an email option or a phone number provided. In this age, don't we all just want a real human? I was glad to read that one reviewer commented on difficulty with return because I just saw that my DeskJet 4152e was returnable only during the first month. It's a flimsy piece of crap. (I am sorry though that the one reviewer had difficulty with return.)
It was a nightmare to set up! My husband, who is a techie, couldn't get it to go even though both of us were working on the 2 hour problem. We chose not to waste any more of our precious time and energy on a cheap piece of crap! Despite their online tutorials, we just don't have the time or the interest. It's out in the garage now, ready to go into next weeks trash pickup.
HP offers all this product support, but it is not forthcoming. I positively despise this company!

Functional.
It is certainly not like my previous copiers as far as quality of the product. It is very easy to set up and does collate and print clearly. It is noisy when printing. The ink cartridges that came with it had minimal ink.

The HP desk jet 4155E all one printer is the perfect printer I bought to date. It’s user-friendly.
The HP DeskJet for E 55E all in one printer it’s absolutely perfect in size paper usage, ink supply in black and color. The quality of the income, the page stands and the sharpness is fantastic, plus it’s remarkably quiet compared to the OfficeJet Pro 8620 that I had previously.

Printer Woes
I don't understand it. Had a 4630 that was easy to understand. The user manual for the 4155 has not helped me at all. I had codes come up in the info screen that I can't translate. So far have done only basic printing. I don't like having to use HP Smart to figure out scan and copy. Jury is totally out on this.

Paper will not feed
No wonder it was on sale. This printer and other Hp printers that use down feed paper trays are not worth any money. I spend a tremendous amount of time trying gto get the paper to feed just so I can get work done.

Unable to install
I purchased the HPDeskjet 4155e directly from HP. I've having problems with the installation. I tried virtual support, unhelpful for my issue. I asked for a callback from a live representative, I've now been waiting almost an hour. The issue is that my desktop shows no icon for wireless. I'm ready to send it back!

A printer with severe deify design faults. If you leave the printer on after eight hours, it locks up and the only way to reset it is by unplugging it. In spite of over eight hours talking with the technical people, the issue cannot be resolved and was told that it’s the design of of the printer.

My HP older printer quite working last week. I called HP and was going to buy a new one and they were very kind to recommend the HP Deskjet 4155e. This printer does fit what I need to use and the price was in range. I received the new printer in2 days and with a little help from HP installed it. It works great and yes, it is the answer to my printer usage. I also have a great service with HP with instant ink. Great program and works well. Thank you, HP.

Does this fax?
This unit does not have the ability to fax directly. If you opt-in for HP+, HP+ is free, during the setup while using the HP Smart app, you get the HP Smart Advance app which includes the ability to use Mobile Fax. Mobile Fax will allow you to send faxes at no cost using either the scanner or the ADF from your printer or use the camera on phone/tablet to scan an image and send it as a fax. Does not include the ability to receive faxes that way, only send.
