Wrong toner
Wrong cartridge. I dont kniw if the mistake was mine or hp, but I bought the toner on last march and I just tried to install 2 days ago, si I didnt nitice it was the wrong one. I had to buy the right one on Amazon because they indicate clearly what toner is for your printer which is impossible to find navigating the page on Hp website

Printer & Scanner problems
This printer/scanner is not near the quality of my previous HP equipment. It is difficult to set up. It will not set the program hokds. It takes too many steps to scan. The tech support f he as employees with very strong accents.

HP has a family of products right for you!
I am a true believer in HP products and as I have a HP printer. As an attorney who is a sole practioner, product reliability is hugely important for the efficiency of my firm. My HP laser Jet Pro MFP 3101fdw is a work horse. The toner cartridges that I purchase are reliable, long lasting and the print quality is second to none even as the toner cartridge is low on ink, the print quality is great just like it was just installed. I use all HP products; however, I recently made a crucial error in judgement, and purchased a new laptop for my firm that was not HP. There is not a day that goes by that I wished that I had purchased the HP laptop especially because it was easier to operate, more compatible to my practice and less expensive than what I purchased. Regardless of the size of your law firm or business, I can say with absolute certainty that HP has a family of products that are right for you. Don't make the same mistake that I did and purchase a non HP product. Do yourself and your business a favor and call HP today. Good luck and thank you HP.

It prints flawlessly.
It prints flawlessly but... it is a nightmare to set up, even with tech support help. Insufficient instructions to do it yourself. But it does print beautifully if you can get through the set up. I couldn't so I had to return it.

How many copies will an HP 138X Black Laser Jet Toner cartridge print? Is there a high yield cartridge for the HP4001n printer?
The 138X is capable of printing up to 4,000 pages. It will vary depending on how much of the pages you use, type of font, size of print, and if you are using bold lettering. This is based on a standard document. The HP LaserJet Pro 4001n does have a high yield cartridge and that is the 148X which is capable of printing up to 9,500 pages.
