Enough system memory

First order of business: Print width
How wide do you need to print? Consider your options ranging from 24" to a whopping 64". If the answer is "as wide as possible" your second thought should be your printer footprint. How much space is available in your office or studio for a printer?
Which features matter to you in a printer/plotter?
Your checklist might include: a printed page stacker, take-up reel, paper loading method, whether it can take one or two rolls of paper, is capable of a 3" core, connectivity, software and security features, scanning capabilities, table/stand and office design, cut sheet tray, and how eco-friendly is it.
