New Strategies for Provisioning
Carlsberg partnered with HP, its long-time IT vendor, to implement cloud-based solutions that simplify device provisioning and management. The company adopted HP Device Provisioning Services and Windows Autopilot to streamline onboarding, enabling employees to be productive within minutes while reducing IT effort.
The collaboration with HP and Microsoft also supports a transition to Windows 11 Enterprise2, enhancing security and management capabilities. Zero-touch deployment provides a personalized setup experience and was successfully piloted in Asia, where remote onboarding proved especially valuable. Pre-provisioning also allows market- or function-specific applications to be installed in advance, ensuring users have the tools they need immediately.

This efficiency frees IT staff to focus on critical tasks while improving the experience for teams such as sales, who no longer need to travel long distances for support.
With over 38,000 employees and 20,000 devices in use, remote device management and direct-to-home delivery create significant gains in productivity. Users receive ready-to-use laptops that are automatically configured, while IT can provide remote support as needed.
