Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great concept ,but extremely poor durability I bought this printer as a backup as we are always having power failure. Set it up easily as I'm electronics tech.what disturbed me is that it whirs and clunks a lot.this is not good enough for a very expensive printer. I am extremely delicate with it but still jams ,cartridge bangs .I keep the paper path clean. I used genuine carts,I installed them correctly.note to hp,the cartridge install is not intuitive, most people will force it and possibly destroy the cartridge.thanks for the graphic-its very different. The printer is dog slow. My lawyer had one and replaced it with a reliable Canon printer. I just wish hp would try to make their printers reliable, can't you use Ai robots to test? My solution was a inverter generator from aldi that cost less than the printer!

While printing it jams all the time and it stalls about 50% of the time i want to print. If its not used within 2 weeks there are always problems with the print cartridge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MJM11 from Worst Printer Ever This is by far the worst printer I've ever encountered. Thank goodness I didn't spend any money on this piece of junk. This thing doesn't even deserve one star. We have gotten nothing but error messages about the ink cartridges since we turned the thing on. Brand new printer, brand new ink, nothing works!!! This thing is an absolute joke! Do Not Waste Your Money!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by EdwardSmith from Terrible product, no longer available Terrible product, new ink cartridges cause error messages, overseas tech support not helpful, awful ship-to-shore type of phone line at call centre, poor quality product. Fed up spending $50 CDN for each new #98 HP black ink cartridges that only contain one ONE TEASPOON of ink in cartridge. Printer often cannot recognize new cartridge causing error messages. Call centre suggests buying new printer (!) after I paid $350 + tax for this model. Fed up. Have written CEO Don Weisler in March 2017 and again April 2017.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sharon94 from Unreliable!! I'm writing this review because once again my HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One is frozen. I am a 4th year college student. For my first 2 years, I had the HP Officejet 6700 Premium All-in-One Printer. It wasn't without its flaws, but it was reliable. It's biggest quirk was that it would make sounds day and night for what seemed to be no reason. I liked it, but it took up too much space. I bought the HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One right before my 3rd year because of its small size. After having it for 2 years, I can say other than the fact that it takes up very little space, I absolutely hate it. Its countless quirks make it very unreliable. For example, if I send a document to print before remembering to turn the printer on, when it does turn on, the printer freezes and I have to either wait for the printer to die or take out its battery to force shut down. (I've let it sit frozen for days and it never recovers without a forced shut down). Sometimes it freezes without explanation. I feel like it can only handle a few pages at once or else it gets overloaded and freezes. It's an ink eating machine. It prints slowly. Too often it prints out half pages or just neglects to print out whole pages entirely. I always have to triple check whether my whole document actually printed properly before turning things in. I've had to fall back on using my roommate's printer way too many times when needing to print something in a hurry. It's a hassle to use. I would definitely not buy this printer again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JKalm from Badly executed idea This printer constantly prints partial documents and fails to scan even with the most current drivers. I loved the idea of having a small foot print all in one for my apartment, but this device is a great idea that was terribly executed. It's like the designers decided that they didn't need to fix all the issues and bugs because the form factor would compensate for the constant task failures.

Rated 4 out of 5 by medicineman from A Good Product I read the reviews prior to purchasing this product and the reviews were not good. I purchased this product anyways and so far I am very satisfied with it. I'm no computer wizard but I have a few skills. The set-up and installation was very easy and I had no difficulty with this process. The installation program even removed & updated old hp software on my computer. The product did not come with a usb cable and for the money I paid for the product you would think that hp would have thrown one in so maybe they will consider this in the future. I am on the move a few times a year and this product will be good for me while traveling to send and receive documents. I think the technology of this product is great. This product I keep mentioning is the HP OfficeJet 150 Mobile All-In-One. It scans & prints. Just a smaller version of a larger home or office printer but is great for on the go. It can be used with or without a battery as it has a AC power cord. I saw a lot of bad reviews on issues of installation and that the product was slow. I agree that it may be slow but again it is a compact version of the bigger home or office versions so it's bound to be a little slower. I give this product a good review. All you have to do is follow the instructions and it's very simple. Not trying to offend anybody who wrote a bad review but if I can do the installation than anybody can.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Wolfonthego from Great Idea, but has problems I bought this because of the print/copy/scan features. I couldn't find another mobile printer that would scan. The idea of this machine is great, but the execution by HP could be much better. There is no reason for a printer built in 2015 to be so finicky and hard to deal with. The machine prints pages at a good rate; the scan/copy is slow, but honestly that doesn't bother me. What is wrong is that it took a LONG time to install the drivers, and get my laptop and the printer to work. I then keep having "offline" issues (which probably is my laptops fault, not hp). If for some reason I cancel the printjob, sometimes the printer sits and is "Cancelling" for a loooooong time (as it is right now as I type this). Every time I go to print something, I wonder if I will have a problem free print period. Bottom line is that I need a mobile printer that will scan, and it does so (although you can't scan by bluetooth, and the printer doesn't come with a USB cord-which has to be a special end for the printer side of the cord) with no problems-I just stick my thumb drive and scan to it and then transfer to my laptop- an unnecessary multi-step process that hp can easily remedy by including the USB cord with the printer! Yes, I say I recommend this product but with reservations as it does fill a specific need for a mobile printer, but is not user friendly. Buyer beware. I think hp can do better, and should.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Brett35 from The worst of every function. As a mobile printer it is big, clunky, overpriced, and doesn't fit in a laptop bag. As a scanner it is extremely slow scanning and slow feeding. It only scans one page at a time. To scan you must push scan, then scan to, insert one page, hit ok, wait for page to load, then save as, then ok again, and finally it starts scanning. Per page! If you save to computer the software will open a new window with every scan. So for example you want to scan a 20 page document. You spend 20 minutes scanning the pages, close 20 open windows in explorer, then combine the 20 pages in Acrobat to get your PDF file. Obviously the software engineers did not have business travelers in mind when they produced this product. You cannot adjust the quality of the scan, color, or size. No options other than where to save the file. For the price there are much better options on the market. I love my Snapscan portable scanner that is quick, easy to use, and can scan 20 pages in a few seconds saved in my computer. I have one profile saved to scan high quality pictures and another profile for business docs. I would not recommend this product! There are better products on the market and better price points. And one more thing. My favorite is when it freezes up and does nothing. Typically every day. You have to do a battery pull, wait for it to reboot, reset the ink heads, then get a warning message about not properly shutting down. Ha. Thats comical. If it wasn't for the fact my work issued me this all-in-nothing I would have ditched it after the first week of use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PJ from Excelente...pero mejorable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pingme from Works great when used as designed This printer is excellent when used in its intended environment. It is not a compact portable printer for high demand office use. Don't expect it to be a substitute for heavy duty office printer. It is a compact portable printer that has feature suitable for quick "light duty" printing, scanning, and to copy documents and convert them into a PDF file. When used with that understanding it is a great product. Installation was rather straight forward under Windows 7 Pro 64 bit OS. Drivers needed to be reinstalled for Win 10 but worked great in Win 7 and continues to work well with Win 10. Printing, Scanning, and making copies of documents. Used in the real estate field to SCAN copies of deeds, tax maps, permits, etc. which are saved to the USB drive and then transferred as PDF's to laptop to be posted to MLS datasheet for a listing, or emailed to other parties to a transaction. Additional uses are to print documents via Bluetooth from laptop - occasionally via USB cable. Yes, it could be a little more compact, but it does fit in the backpack along with laptop, and other "tools" of the trade - cables, camera, tripod, etc. Its portability and features are perfect for use by an active, mobile, real estate professional. Perfect product when used as designed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CynthiaS from Terrible printer A professional computer person came to my house to set up this printer, so I didn't somehow screw it up myself. The box had apparently already been opened when I got it, and a cord was missing. Not HP's fault, just the beginning of the hassle with this product. Perhaps it was a return that was a lemon from the beginning. It cost three times as much as other printers that do the same thing; I thought I would get better quality from a more expensive printer. Silly me. It has never worked correctly. It gives me seemingly random error messages almost every time I use it: Not connected, not shut down properly (although I use the touchscreen button which seldom really shuts it off), printer will be preparing for an hour, then will not shut off, and I have to unplug it to get it to shut off. Another error message is that the ink cartridges were already used (we unwrapped them from packaging the day it was installed, about 3 weeks ago). Now the print is very faint, and I have printed fewer than 20 pages. I found its error log and it is a mile long....IF and when it does work, it prints OK. I am really not happy and it is too late to return it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Retired76 from Difficult setup I'm just in the middle of setting it up. The only problem so far is the installation of the print cartridges. Took me nearly an hour. They just would not slide into the slot. It was too hard, and it seemed as if they needed to be forced. My DJ450 has the same installation process, and after 10 years the cartridges still slide into position without even a hint of needing to be forced. After finally getting the job done the printer does a great job.

It was easy to pack and carry. I was able to print a wide variety of my requirements from invoices and envelopes to presentation materials and any correspondence that was not emailed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AleeO from Needs the wireless AirPrin/HPairprint for my iPad I've had a HP100 and like the added features of the HP150. I still need a totally mobile/battery printer that connects with my iPad. I am glad of the HP1200w print accessory, but it will be a lot less hassle just to have a mobile battery operated printer with the iPad print feature integrated into it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mark6 from Nice try... This printer has all the features I need. -Or so it appears. Using a Mac, I never have been able to get it to scan properly when connected with USB. Wireless printing works ok, unless it does not. It is constantly stopping to reset itself, but then often crashes and requires a cold reboot, removing the battery as well. Then when I restart it, it scolds me for improperly shutting it down. I sent it back and got a replacement, and it is a little better, but still not worth bothering schlepping around. Overall, a big disappointment for this road warrior.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cougarn from Handy mobile all-in-one! The all-in-one features work quite well. Written instructions & video explanations are easy to follow. The only problem I had was with connecting the bluetooth wireless aspect. (This was due to the fact that I had never done this before!). Once I was able to do this, all was fine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SS30253 from Product Function My device doesn't hold a charge. I think it's broken altogether. The functions of the device are a bit cumbersome but manageable considering this printer is the first of its kind allowing printing, scanning and copying all from a mobile device. It would be great if the scan feature was faster and if it scanned directly to the computer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jili from Hp150 Disaster printer HP in general is downgrading, especially the material they use in the rollers is very cheap and stop functioning soon. But this is by far the most rediculous printer from HP. It's not wireless (only bluetooth), and it has a memory of a mouse, it keeps asking to be shut down, and keeps getting stuck (either paper in it or the memory). When there is no paper in it at all it keeps on asking to clear!!! For the price it is a disaster. I had one of the 470 but wireless stopped functioning and can not find the adapter for it and Don't know why HP doesn't carry it at all anymore! That was better than this one, but still it shouldn't stop functioning so fast. HP must get its act together specially that the inks are also very expensive!!! Very dissatisfied.

Rated 3 out of 5 by landman from Slow scanner, no printing from iPhone or iPad In theory this device is a perfect solution for the mobile user like myself. I don't want to lug around a somewhat small printer and also a portable scanner everywhere I go, so this should be great - but it's not. The setup was pretty straight forward and not difficult, until I got to the wireless bluetooth portion. I wasn't able to see the device from my iPad or iPhone like I could with my home HP printer. After researching on the HP service site I find out this printer does not support iDevices. I thought to myself crummy, but not a deal breaker as I realistically have only printed a few times from an iDevice to my other printers. I will still need to get my other computer to test if the bluetooth even works. On to the scanner - It is mind boggling slow - I'm not sure what other portable scanners are like, but I do have a portable Neat scanner and the HP does the job at a quarter of the speed. I did finally figure out how to make a multipage PDF, so that was a relief. The Printer Is Super Expensive - Even When On Sale. My high hopes are a bit let down. The printer portion works great and is speedy, other than the wireless printing. Having battery operated printing at the speed this printer goes is great, but In my honest opinion you should not spend the money on this one - get the cheaper Officejet Mobile 100 and just scan using genius scan or other scanning app on your iPhone - save the money. I really wanted to give this two stars, but thought that to be a little too critical of the printer - It does print very well and if the bluetooth works on my other laptop and my recently purchased Surface tablet then it is pretty good for a mobile printer. I just think it is horribly overpriced for the super slow scanning and the no iDevice functionality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Groot from Room for Improvement Based on the feedback others have given, there is obviously room for improvement with the HP Officejet 150. Besides the setup & installation issues, it seems to me that this product would be the ideal candidate for the HP ePrint solution. Some are using the Photosmart 5520 as a mobile printer. Seems like that's the ideal product that should be in this chassis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RCCC from Good Product! I was looking for a printer/scanner that would do a decent job but not take up a lot of space and I could pack away eaisly. I have moved several times and lugging a full size printer around frankly gets old. I was also looking for one that would travel if need be. I do not do a lot of printing and certainly would not call myself a "power" user. I have an ocassional need to print and copy. I could have gotton a printer/scanner for a lot less $ but then I was back to something the size of a small orange crate that certainly would not fit in a suitcase or a drawer even. I am running Windows Vista.. The set up disk was designed for that and it set up quickly. I used a USB cable and had no issues. Wi-Fi would be nice but for my use I did not consider that a significant draw backand since the printer is small with only a 50 sheet capacity it is not exactlly a "remote" printing machine nor was it designed to be. After looking around I could not find another printer of this small a size that would both print AND scan. The ones I did find were a bit smaller but had no scanning ability and after adding a battery (which is included with this one) were more expensive. If you are looking for a small size printer/scanner that can travel if need be or pack away eaisly for storage this can't be beat. Print quality is solid in both color and BW. Scanning is easy and straight forward. Would highly recommend.

Set it up last week with the MacBook Air I am taking with me. Set-up was easy, including the Bluettooth pairing. Print quality is excellent. Speed is good for a mobile printer. Design is a winner. Nice work, HP!

Rated 2 out of 5 by MLFU from Mmmm I'm finding this psc device to be highly annoying. Can't scan more than a couple pages without stopping and complaining that there's a paper jam (which there isn't) or instructing me to "Close the scanner glass door", which when closed means nothing - the message is repeated. I'm not stupid; the device parts are easy to identify, but simply scanning a few pages into one pdf could take hours. Did HP put enough time and money into testing? I paid $400 for this thing. Definitely thinking of returning it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DleeNYC from Good machine but not for what it was sold. It is a fairly good printer but it is not asa portable as you might think.. It is heavy, thick and akward (doesn't fit in a computer bag well [even a coputer bag that has room for a portable printer] , and is very heavy to lug around. Canon sells one that is more portable. The printer, scanner and copier itself is not bad, but again, if I was not going to use it as a portable printer, then I would get a machine that was more capable. If this machine was more portable then it would be fine. But as a home printer it is not good and as a portable printer, it is not good. I am disappointed with this purchase :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by TerryAZ from Great product but difficult set-up I just upgraded to the HP150 mobile printer. The previous model 100. worked great after some set-up problems, but wanted the all-in-one features of the 150. I experienced some set-up problems with the 150 also. The supplied installation disk would not install with my Windows 8 OS. I Was able to install using downloaded software, but was unable to use the scan feature from printer to computer. Customer support assisted in installing additional software to resolve that problem. The printer now works great and am pleased with the product.

It won't scan to the computer or even to the thumb drive port on the back of the printer. Deep sigh, it's going in for repair, I just dont have the time to screw around with this anymore.Usually I have had good luck with hp. It just doesn't see a scanner driver with the included set up disk. No owners manual. rotten installation instructions. not what I expected for the price

Rated 4 out of 5 by littleneil from All in all, a nice package The software installation was a nighmare. The installation disk never did work. HP support rescued me by sending me to the HP driver/installation download site. All good after that. The printer itself is great -functionality wise. It could do things a little faster maybe but I guess as a mobile device, it is average or better. Lastly, scanning to a PC requires a USB connection and I thought it odd that no USB cord came with the printer?

First test print yielded a cartridge error. Re-installed cartridges and ended up replacing with newly purchased cartridges. Worked. Replaced both since I was not sure which one caused the error message. Print quality/copy and speed is very good for a mobile unit. Haven't tested the scan yet. Bluetooth works good. Just waiting for iPad upgrade to link to the 150. Overall, the 150 works closely to my 7310 all-in-one. Hope the 150 lasts as long.
