DO NOT BUY - actually, from my experience with this one, I wouldn't buy another HP printer. If I could give it ZERO stars i would. I thought I had done thorough research on a new printer, I was wrong. This printer worked for about a month. Then it wouldn't connect to web services - understand that it was connected to the network/internet, it would not connect to web services. And apparently, if you are signed up with Intstant Ink (which you get free for the first few months) you are allowing them to hold your printer hostage if you can't stay connected to them. Won't print, won't copy - nothing! And tech supports answer (after a total of 6 hours on the phone) is that it is my internet service providers issue. If I am connected to the network I should be allowed to print, period!

For support to load software to run this $100 printer, absolutely would not buy but, now out $100, can't return to best buy, worthless printer to me. Buyer beware before purchase.

I’d have to say the 1 and only issue I have with this printer… It doesn’t have borderless printing for photos.

Printer first because of all the paperwork needed to file foe assistance and demo. Laptop hopefully ahead. Have been an avid and happy Hp user for years. I don't need to print much, probably once or twice a month, only a page or two at a time, and I'm already needing to buy ink for a third time. The ink level indicators also aren't showing low levels despite printing very lightly or not at all. This is very frustrating since my usage is not high, and I should be able to get much better mileage out of the ink.

Once it's set up, it works fine, but the set up is complicated and ridiculous. Printing multiple pages of directions and wifi direct passwords runs through ink before you even get to use it.

Printer software and driver are garbage, wi-fi funtion is non functioning. To top it off I did not realize that it comes with a triple color cartrige. As printers are supposed to get more economical, HP would rather have you through a cartrige out with potentially 90% full of 2 of the 3 colors and 1 empty. Worse purchase for me this decade.

I have done EVERYTHING I can think of to reinstall the printer and it won't work. It says it's missing the driver, then it can't find the printer and then the spinning wheel of death. It shouldn't be this hard to use a product. I've tried installing the self-help tool...nothing.

After printing about two times, it said the printer heads weren't aligned. It prints well, but if you want a printer for the purpose of having a wifi printer, don't get this one. It will NOT make copies without leaving a HUGE (like 2") black line across the top of the copy. This seems to be a common theme if you see other reviews. We have always purchased HP printers, but the quality of this is so far below anything we have ever bought from HP. It is going back tomorrow, and we will look elsewhere for a new printer.

The first stop working after I cancelled instant ink. HP takes over the printer and it won't work anymore, real cluster fluck trying to reconnect it after cancellation. I bought a new one thinking I could start over, and it won't work at all, and I get multiple errors with ink and connectivity issues and each time I initial return I get sent to a hp page unrelated. Thank you so much HP - Unbelievable.

I want a printer that will print on printable vinyl paper. When I used my dad's printer the ink came out wet still, so I am looking for one for myself. What kind of printer would print on vinyl without the ink coming out wet and smearing everywhere?

Thank you for your question! To print on vinyl paper a heavy-duty printer is required. Normally with vinyl printing, the OfficeJet Pro or Page Wide Pro lines are recommended. Also, be certain to use vinyl printing that is compatible with HP InkJet printers as well.
