Great Black Friday deals! Bought for our parents for Christmas . Big screen is easy to see and keyboard is easy to navigate. The touch screen was a plus for them.

Great 14" Touchscreen HP Chromebook
The set up for my Chromebook was very fast and easy. I love the sleek design and it has the ability to fold it and use it as a tablet. I searched all local stores and found the best sale price for this Chromebook on the HP.com website. In addition, it charges the battery very quickly. Highly recommend this 14" touchscreen HP Chromebook.

battery not as good as one 5 years older
Disappointed in battery life. It's barely better than the battery on my 5 year old similar model. I got this one to replace it because it's battery was fading, and I feel like I hardly got anything better. Also get weird pop up ads on a (supposedly) brand new product. Sketchy.

Returned 3 weeks later
Computer worked great. It was not even two weeks old. I got an update. I was still figuring it out and working so I left it be. One day around week 3 it forced updated itself and when it went to restart after updating I got the Black Death page. Nothing would load or go past the ChromeOs logo. Technical support recommended to be returned to be fixed. After only three weeks of owning I opted for a full return and bought a different brand Chromebook. After some research apparently Chromebook HP is notorious for this issue. HP even acknowledges it because it's a choice out of 8 technical support issues. Black screen after reboot.
Also trying to get customer service and technical support through AI systems was a nightmare. No more HP for us.
