Copy bleeding Cyan on copies
I ordered the new cartridge because I was getting bleeding from the cartridges on my printer which ruined the copies. It is cleaned and fixed for a while but comes back. It is an older machine so we will see what the problem is by trial and error.

HP's tech department is genius for sending an update to reject ink cartridges made before a certain date to prevent third parties from refilling them. I had an official HP ink cartridge ordered from the HP WEBSITE that was rejected by my printer simply for sitting on the shelf as a back-up. I bet they didn't think about businesses that order a surplus and keep them in storage as back-up. So now I have a $150 full and useless cartridge because HP just can't help themselves. I will NEVER order or replace a printer/computer/any HP product again.

HP's firmware rejects their own cartridges.
I bought 3 refills from HP that my printer will not allow me to use because it says the cartridges dated 1.5 years old was out of date. That's $300 down the drain.

Be Careful -used merchandise for new prices.
Ordered 4 new ink cartridges from Hp—received, after a very long time-(certainly not 1 day,2 day or 3 day service)- 4 refurbished, used cartridges,labels missing. They work with a bit of effort, but they are not new. Feel ripped off. Hp was previously very reputable-Paid full price for used merchandise. Be careful.

Forced to buy.
Spare cartridge I had would not work. They coded the newer cartridges so the old ones would not work. Also have yellow and cyan cartridges that will not work. This will be the LAST HP PRODUCT I'LL EVER BUY!

What people should know about this product is that if the chip on the cartridge gets outdated then all of your very expensive ink is trash.

I bought a non-brand cartridge from another vendor that was much cheaper than HP. I was hoping it will be as good but then the HP printer itself didn't want to accept the cartridge cause it wasn't an HP brand. I guess HP brand cartridges have some kinda chip to recognize. So I ended up returning the non-brand and purchased one HP cartridge from the HP website. Overall the packaging and the quality of the cartridge were great but it was too expensive.

Customer asks HP for product support to no avail
When I purchased the high yield cartridge I was told it would last for 6500 copies it did not last two weeks and when I called I got no satisfaction from sales or tech support. This was true for the cyan cartridge as well but the yellow and black are still almost full. Very dissatisfied in the product and no one to contact.
