Good Backup
I have not installed the Toner Cartridge let. I knew that the one that I had was running low to keep printing. It's good to have a backup when you need to replace the worn out one.

Kicked to the Side of the Road
Ordinarily I would have given this toner 5 stars. I have used HP Toner in my business for years and have always been able to count on it.
However, an order I received of an 83A Toner Black 2PK in February of this year and did not open until now when I needed it, turned out to contain two new-looking HP 83A Toner Black boxes that were both sealed as normal, but instead of containing the two new toner cartridges I had ordered, the contents of BOTH boxes contained useless USED cartridges.
Unfortunately, I had not opened the boxes when they arrived in February (I had never needed to) and only discovered this bizarre event much past the 30-day return period. The shipment suppliers (Staples and Amazon) said they would not/could not reimburse me or correct it.
How did two used cartridges become sealed into two new HP toner boxes in the first place? Did Staples receive them from HP that way?
I spent a lot of money on them and am very disappointed that no one took responsibility for this unacceptable delivery containing worthless contents and just kept my money and wouldn't replace them.
Until this happened, I was a very happy HP customer. Someone needs to make this right!

New toner cartridge for a great laser printer
I have a wonderful hp black and white laser printer that finally ran out of toner. It was simple to find the cartridge using the hp smart app which knew exactly what i needed. It was very easy for purchase. The hp printers and the hp smart app are fabulous.

Not universally compatible w/ 83A
The printer management software pop-up (HP Laserjet Pro MFP M125-M126 PCLmS) said my toner cartridge was low and did I "want to order a genuine HP replacement". Sure, I clicked, and was taken to the HP store. I was given a choice between an 83A (standard capacity) or an 83X (twice the capacity for only 35% more cost). So I opted for the latter, and it didn't fit my printer - the very same one whose software gave me only these two choices. I went to Staples and bought an 83A, which fit perfectly. The 83X might be a 5 star cartridge, but buyer beware! One star for the 83X vis-a-vis the MFP M125 printer. I gave 2 stars because the HP store's return process was super easy with a rapid refund :-) Overall quite happy with HP, but the 83X glitch seems avoidable. Hoping for a software update.

toner that works ... yeah, a little expensive, but you get what you pay for ... when the level in the cartridge gets down to less than 200 pages, I routinely remove the cartridge, give it a good shake in all directions ... then replace it ... seems to last longer.

HP Sent the Wrong Cartridges!
I ordered 2 cartridges for my HPM201sw Laser Jet Pro printer. The ones I received do not work! They are marked 83A and the one in my printer is 83X! I am returning them for a refund or for the proper cartridges

CF283A LaserJet Toner Cartridge
This cartridge has a place of honor on a shelf in my supply closet, waiting for the old cartridge to run out. Printouts are becoming slightly grey instead of pure black, so I think it will be pressed into service soon. It looks just like the old one, so I expect it will work as well.
