Rated 2 out of 5 by WlfAcft from Should've gone Canon This prints great when it works, but the included software is worthless and we constantly have to walk to the other end of the shop to turn the printer back on because it's gone to sleep. We had a workaround with the old firmware because we could boot the printer and have it idle up to 4 hours. The new firmware "fixed" our workaround by limiting our idle time to 60 minutes. Now we get to experience the extremely long boot time every time we want to print. The printer does not come out of the idle state in response to a print job being sent from our computers (Win 7 and Win 10) so if we forget to restart the plotter, the job is just lost. If I could have a printer that printed as well as this but with software that was actually usable, I would recommend this, but in it's current iteration, I'm regretting not buying another Canon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jackie276 from Great Printer I bought this over a month ago, and it is great.My old printer used to shut down, so it is definitely an upgrade. Keep in mind, you need to have all ink cartridges filled, to be able to print anything. I ran out of PK ink (while waiting for my other to arrive) and although I was only printing black (had plenty of black and gray ink) and white, I had to wait to replace the cartridge to continue my prints.

HP support advised this device is not supported w/ PS drivers on MS print management servers, only PCL and therefore you cannot access the advanced features.Does anyone know of a workaround for mass deployments?
