Great computer lousy Software.
The main thing I like about the DT TP01-2155m computer is that is it the fastest computer I have ever purchased from HP. I have no problem with the hardware. It's the software that I have a great disliking for. Microsoft windows 11 is so different from Microsoft windows 10. I am nearing entire month going at it 10 hours a day and I am still a long way from getting it set up correctly. What I did get working right is working well but the MS One Drive is trying my patience. It set it's self up so that I could not use the computer unless MS One Drive is tied into all my file address. I didn't see that coming.

HP Service is Dysfunctional
I like HP products. For years I bought HP PCs with Monitors, Keyboards/Mice; I am a loyal HP customer. I also have bought HP printers. However, instead of buying HP PC from a store, I decided to buy the HP Pavilion direct from HP. It's been a nightmare. The sales experience was bad trying to get answers and then specify the HP PC. Once I placed the order, I never received an email confirmation. I called HP customer service and after 30 minutes being transferred a few times, the agent said he could not give me FedEx tracking information. He said he could not confirm the Pavilion shipped. It just "showed up." When I went to set up the PC, I found out that Microsoft Office had not been installed as I ordered. I had to buy the Microsoft License, which was a big surprise because when I ordered the Pavilion I asked the sales agent about including Windows Office. I felt "scammed" by HP. And as I write this review, I still do not have Microsoft Office loaded on the PC. I do like HP products but the experience dealing with HP is terrible...the worst ever. I might have to go back to a store, which also sells Dell computers.

A good machine
This is my 4th or 5th HP desktop. As usual, it is an excellent machine. I use it mainly for personal and business purposes. I am not a gamer. The greatest problems of a new machine are data transfer and updated software -- I was used to the old ways -- but the new machine is faster and seems to be able to access my Wi-Fi more effectively

Great computer. Warranty info is incorrect and HP doesn't care
Great desktop at a super price. Easy to set up and transfer data and settings. Check your warrenty date. Even though my computer was delivered on 1/3/2025, my warranty says 10/14/2024...which is the manufacturing date of the unit. Cannot get HP to change it. Getting shuffled from department to department. Have a case number open but no resolution. Ridiculous

HP Pavilion
The HP Pavilion tower is great. HP is a good brand and I trust it. It's the Windows 11 I hate. Nothing works on this Pavilion like it does on my HP Envy Windows 10! The look of this Pavilion is sleek, it has some ports I wanted, some I didn't get. I can't plug MY keyboard or mouse in as the plugs don't fit in these ports. My keyboard and mouse are old and I like them and wanted to use them. I probably will get around to using the Pavilion more. But I dislike the Windows 11so much, that I am still mostly using my Envy. I live in Ohio. I would recommend any HP product.

Not much luck with the set up
I have had a hard time setting up my 4th HP. I must have made mistakes, I am blocked from OneDrive and can't get my pictures transferred from my last HP which became obsolete forcing this purchase. I keep thinking when I get unblocked, things will work out, but, today, there was effort in that direction that once again failed. I can get on Facebook and AOL but can't do much more. I like to work with my photos. Still hoping it will work out.

Make sure you have enough space in your DDR as the hard drive is not worth much
The size of the DDR at 256GB was not big enough to put my system file and run Windows 11. had a 2 TByte hard drive on the system but its only use is for data not programs. This required me to send two of these systems back to HP and replace with a DDR of 512GB. Its interesting for me to note that I ran an entire business with 25 incoming phone lines and 10 users in 64 k of memory and 128 Meg of hard drive.

Good Value
A good value for a desktop much faster then my old one. I am not a gamer , and don't watch movies on my pc , so it has plenty of ram and storage. One thing I don't like is the storage set up, hard drive and ss. I am not used to using the D; drive to save things but that is where most of the storage is, I guess I will get use to it. I also don't like that there is no light that shows when the hard drive is reading and writing.

Nice desktop tower
This is a nice desktop tower with a dvd/cd drive (hard to find). It was easy to set up and start using. It replaces a 12 year old HP Envy desktop. The ryzen 5 processor is good enough for my uses and so much faster than the old PC. My grandchildren use it to play Roblox when they visit and appreciate the speed. I have added a 1 TB ssd for document backup from a laptop. The 2 TB drive is used for backup of my photos. Works great, loving it so far.

HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2165z with AMD Ryzen.
This is my third HP Pavilion Desktop computer. The only reason I replaced my other HP's is because Microsoft stopped supporting Windows XP, then the great Windows 7 operating system. I find the Windows 11 less organized, counter intuitive, and needlessly sloppy in its function. That's the only thing wrong with my new Hp, aside from the vertical mounted DVD writer. It's getting old throwing away perfectly good HP PCs, printers, etc.... whenever Microsoft decides to release a new operating system, that pales in comparison to the former.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND HP
My experience with HP is the best. I had an old computer and needed an up date. I was going from an OS of 7 to 11. The customer service representative was most helpful. Stayed within my price range and I purchased the HP Pavilion Desktop as stated above. I also purchased a 31.5 monitor and the ink program that included a new printer. I am completely satisfied with everything I purchased, and received in a very timely manner. The speed is amazing! Thank you HP for being there.

Great Desktop, Awesome Price, Good Buy!
I was looking to replace a ten-year-old iMac and needed something that would cover my basic needs. I don't play games, but I do lots of multitasking. The AMD Ryzen 5 Series works perfect for what I need my computer to do. Runs quick, super quite, and boots fast. The disc drive is a nice comfort feature to have and the various ports both front and back are great. This model, HP Pavilion DT TP01-2165z, does have an HDMI port and VGA in the rear. I do use both slots and have a dual monitor setup. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone.

This particular desktop crashes several times a week. It can’t retain my Microsoft ID or PIN. I’m not sure if it’s the CPU or the USB ports but something isn’t right and Windows 11 is up to date.

Hello. Thanks for your question. The RAM on this HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2155m computer is up to 32 GB DDR4-3200. There are 2 RAM slots. You can upgrade this HP Pavilion computer to Windows 11 Pro. When you get the computer, you can upgrade to Windows 11 Pro through the computer. Press the Windows logo button. It is to the left of the space bar. Type Activation. Once the Activation window opens, select "Upgrade your edition of Windows". Click on the down arrow. Then, select Open Store. Finally, you would select Buy to Upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.
