It's not just about your need to print. It IS about saving the planet from an empty ink cartridge nightmare. These empty cartridges can be sent to a place where they can be disposed of in a least impactful way for our planet Earth. If you ask HP for this, they will send it without a charge.

I buy my ink directly from HP!
I have bought ink from online retailers (even big box stores) showing the HP box but when the ink arrived, or when I got to the store, it wasn't actually HP ink. I paid good money for bad product. I buy only direct from HP now. The price is the same, it's the real deal, shipping is quick and I'm happy!

HP let me down
The cartridge did not function. Called customer service. Told to go to the returns site and print the return label. I told the agent that I couldn't do that since my printer didn't have ink. Agent disappeared from the line and that was that. I then sent an email asking for a refund but was denied because of the date ordered 10/31/25. One day later would have been okay due to the extended return policy. A special offer from 11/01 to 12/25/25. I believe this whole situation happened because I enrolled in Instant Ink. Refer to my communication on the request form for note sent regarding my concerns,
