For some reason they seem to be in short supply. Could it be that leaving out one of the five cartridges that I need, you will force me to buy a new printer that I don't want or need?

Which printer. Are these 564 ink compatible with? I have lots of these inks left, but my printer died. Could I buy a new one that I can still use these with? And which one is it?

Thanks for your question. All the printer models that used the HP 564 ink have been discontinued. All the current options will use newer ink cartridges. You can look into recycling your 564 cartridges for free at this link. https://www.hp.com/us-en/hp-information/recycling/ink-toner.html

It is unclear what is being asked. Please clarify and resubmit the question. However, the 564 and 64 cartridges are not compatible. The 564 is not the XL version of the 64 cartridges if that was what was being asked.
