Wonder , if HP have a program to take back the empty HP cartridges in good condition at the authorized shops in every locations and give a discount code , that can be used in future purchases.If my suggestion is accepted it will be a good initiative and HP will be considered as a company cares about Environmental management system ( EMS 14001:2015) which is a need of the hour to save the nature .The collected cartridges can be recycled/reused by HP and will have monetary benefits to the company too. It is detected by the printer but ink does not come out or same nozzles are blocked. Or improve the quality standards at source, Malaysia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP 680 2-pack Black ink cartridge I had been using HP products ever since I got my first printer (which was a laser printer) way back in 1999. Since then I had switched over to Inkjet printers. Till now, I had changed the printer thrice. Invariably I was using only original cartridges, as they are (1) hassle-free, (2) My printer has wireless router facility and, when ink-level is low, the printer automatically places repurchase order to HP. Last time, due to reasons not known to me, automatic-repurchase-order was not placed. So, I placed order for 2-pack Black Original cartridge. There was some minor delay in delivering the product: but the wait was worth as the overall cost was less, and the quality of the cartridge was, as usual, good. An additional advantage is that the consumption of black-ink by me is very much higher, and, as it is a twin-cartridge pack, I could work without tension that the ink could get exhausted and that I may have to suspend printing half-way through.
