Royal Far West
As the technology partner to Royal Far West, HP has pledged to donate essential technology to help NSW students and schools affected by bushfire get back on their feet.
Community Impact
This year HP has donated over $400,000 of products to support the development of our children and to help communities get back on their feet. See how we’ve helped communities in the past.
Kids Fund was founded on the belief Aussie kids – no matter their circumstance – should receive equal opportunity to flourish in a world increasingly driven by technology.
In the wake of the devastating bushfires, there are a lot of classrooms and kids in our communities that are without access to essential learning tools and technology. As these communities were starting on the road to recovery, they were hit with unprecedented social distancing measures, shifting kids learning environments from school to home, despite many not having the technology required. More than ever before, kids in regional communities need our help.
HP is committed to helping kids and their families remain connected in such a challenging time.
This year, HP has provided over $400,000 of new school technology to not only help kids but also communities recover and rebuild.
Established in 1924, Royal Far West has a proud legacy of firsts, and with a pioneering spirit, they continue to connect rural and remote Australian children with the support they need.
HP is proud to be Royal Far West’s official technology partner, facilitating the crucial support the Royal Far West team provide to rural and remote Australian children. Together we share our common passion of providing all children access to equal opportunities regardless of their background, economic status or location.
This year HP is proud to continue its partnership with Royal Far West to help communities recover and rebuild from the devastating impact of the 2019-20 summer bushfires.
Working hand-in-hand HP and Royal Far West have been able to understand the needs of each community affected by the bushfires and identify technology solutions that will help children and young Australians most in need of online learning tools, telehealth and other essential services.
Launched in 2017, Kids Fund is a program designed to help Australian students achieve digital literacy through technology grants.
To help HP do its part in rebuilding rural and remote communities of Australia, Kids Fund is working with our partners, UNICEF Australia and Royal Far West, to provide over $400,000 worth of essential technology to bushfire-affected schools and communities.
Not only will this continue our children’s critical education journey, it also enables our partners to continue caring for all children and deliver positive change.
