Rated 2 out of 5 by Sam26. from Big Oof This thing is a piece of crap half the time. I wish I had just gotten my MacBook fixed. I've had this thing for approximately 6 months and it drives me up the wall. It's slower than it should be at times. I even paid for upgraded memory! It disconnects from wifi randomly, which is fantastic when I'm submitting exams for school, and the hand rejection and tablet function is a 6/10 at best. The battery life is garbage. It lasts for 3 hours. I've timed it. And all I use this thing for is writing care plans, looking at PowerPoint, and websites. The mouse pad is larger than the actual pad that you see so a lot of times when your hands are resting on either side of the mouse pad it randomly clicks on everything. I should've just gotten my MacBook fixed. If you want a laptop that operates as a tablet, that makes you curse like a sailor, and has to be plugged in 97% of the time to use it, buy this.

It is very easy to set up and so far I haven’t had any issues. I really like the touchscreen and the smoothness of the keyboard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pikes from HP Pavilion x360 14 2-in-1 LT Not what I expected--tablet mode doesn't really compare with my old tablet, for me the keyboard on the back gets in the way of using it as a tablet. Also, I didn't know I was really getting an item made and sourced in China rather than an actual hp. But so far it is acceptable, just not what I expected.

Rated 1 out of 5 by drblopez from Devastated I'm devastated to be honest. I bought a new Pavilion 2-n-1 for my daughter and she was so excited to receive it and start using it. Initially it wouldn't start up and when it finally did after several attempts we got the blue screen of death.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LouisVanfross from Too many flaws After two weeks using this almost daily, I have started seeing horizontal static lines across the screen. There is no damage on the screen, and I have never dropped or hit the laptop. I previously owned a Chromebook that was replaced by this Pavilion because the bottom corner hinge of the screen cracked and broke; due to that I rarely close the screen on this. When I do, I do it slowly and carefully. Also, I find myself having to charge it daily due it dying at 4%. Even without me playing any games or watching any videos the battery will still die after a few hours of browsing the internet. The sound is very low. There is a third mouse clicker button below the center bottom of the laptop that clicks with the slightest pressure. So if you use the laptop leaning on your chest or on any surface other than a hard flat one the pressure activates the button and causes everything to be selected or highlighted on the screen when you move the mouse. The only apparent pro of this laptop is that the processing time is fast and mostly smooth, but IMO not enough to justify the price. I should have read more of the reviews before purchasing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RC Miller from Laptop Purchase with Windows 11 Online purchase went very well from start to finish. Shipping details were tracked keeping me advise of each step. The laptop performs very well with speed and display clarity. The reason why I rated this device with 4 stars rather than 5 is the Micro SD card does not fit flush in the slot causing the card to constantly pop out when carrying the laptop around. However, I'll be looking into a All-In-One desktop in 2023 to replace my 15 year old HP desktop and run Windows 11 for the future desktop computer processing. Overall well done HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RWG! from HP pavilion laptop 14 touch screen So far so good! I’ve only had it for a week, but I’m pleased so far. It worked well right out of the box and synced intuitively with my desktop. The touch screen is quite sensitive; therefore, it will take time to become comfortable with it. Ask me in 6 months!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Shell2022 from Great screen but lags in speed I needed an updated laptop for work so I was told something like this would work. I screen quality is great but the speed is lacking. Regardless of which wifi I’m logged into, there’s a lag getting into a new browser every time. I would have bought a faster speed if I would have known it was going to be like this. My old laptop (MacBook Air) that is 7 yrs old doesn’t lag like this one does.

Rated 3 out of 5 by A.H. from The most practical 2-in-1 in 2022... but... Issues: 1) This customizable model doesn't offer the 5MP webcam with shutter option, even though it's explicitly listed on the spec list underneath. This was one of the key reasons to get the 2022 Pavilion x360, why would any models have the old 720p webcam?! Why would any modern laptop not have a shutter?! 2) No option to get backlit keyboard on this model. 3) Nearly impossible to get model with 16 GB of RAM outside this page. In some countries (Canada), it's not just out of stock, it doesn't exist. 8 GB is paltry in 2022. 4) These customization issues wouldn't be a big deal if internal parts were easy to upgrade. But the 2022 model uses soldered-RAM that can't upgrade. The only benefit here is the newer CPU and 1080p-standard screen, otherwise an older model would be better. I assume most of these issues are from supply constraints, and hope they'll be fixed in a few months, or next year's model. Good things: 1) Intel 12th gen CPU seems to run great. Warm, but not hot. 2) Battery life gets 5 - 7 hours of use for basic tasks. Not great, but good enough for student or short work days. 3) Port selection is best I can find on any brand-name 2-in-1 in 2022: more than 1 USB-A, up-to-date HDMI, and a versatile USB-C. No dongles required for anything I do. 4) Surprisingly light (but could be lighter), fits 14" screen in chassis that can fit bags meant for old 13" laptops. 5) 1080p display looks surprisingly good in person (brightness, color), good enough if you aren't working outdoors or work with color-accurate requirements. 5) HP Rechargable Pen included in the box. Smart pen design for recharging feature (uses USB-C to recharge, cable included). MPP isn't great for precise notes, but good enough, familiar if you're coming from Surface Pro hardware. If you need ports and latest CPU for a decent price (when on sale) for a portable 2-in-1, this is the best option with your limited choices in 2022.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CatherineH from Great laptop, need note taking software Really like the laptop overall. It does not feel cheap or have a cheap keyboard. It is a bit heavy. Also, note taking software should be included for use with the pen. The ability to take notes on PDF files is what I bought it for. Need something similar to Notability used with Apple products. I haven't been about to find anything similar. Overall I'm happy with the laptop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Krispiii from Good laptop for Students/Artists Lovely laptop, it's cute and using it is quite easy. I haven't had any issues with it so far. I kinda wished the keyboard was black tho but other than that it's pretty cool. It's not that heavy, maybe not as light as a macbook but it's not heavy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TamaraLC42 from Fantastic Convertible Computer to Tablet So far it has been great. I do lots of casual gaming, so I have enjoyed the touch screen and the ability to switch between a tablet and a computer. I also use it for work: zoom meetings, data entry, split screen, and notes. It had a nice low price point, so I upgraded to an I5 Core and to 256 memory. The upgrades were worth it and well priced. I researched a long time before deciding on specs I wanted. This computer met them at all. The ones for sale on Amazon are more expensive. I liked being able to customize it. The screen is just the right size for me. The only negative is that I was expecting the screen to be 14 inches. It is more like 13 inches. But I'm loving this laptop. I would highly recommend it.
