PC in a slim box. Not bulky.
I use it for home. Love the slim box. I am still adjusting to Windows 11. It has some quirks.

Several issues
Sometimes when start the computer and turn on the monitor it gets no signal! HDMI cord connects them! Other issue is I can't access settings to allow PCH Games to be played on my computer. The prompts I get tell me to go to the left of the address bar to a puzzle piece, there is none.

My new slim desktop computer
Works great & is really really fast. Be careful when you get it home & start installing updates. There may be 10 or 20 needed. Do some research 1st.

is VERY FAST!
This is the fastest computer ever, Windows 11 and it sure shines with me.
Push the Enter button and BOOM the web site is there!
Only change I would like to see is the front mounted USB ports be lower on the panel.

Replacing Older HP Machines
I've been using my two identical HP PC's for years now. Trouble free. Unfortunately, they were not Windows 11 compatible, so with the end of Windows 10, I needed to find a replacement. This OmniDesk Slim Desktop was recommended to me by the HP sales rep. I've had it 1 month now and I am happy to say that it's been a seamless transition to a new machine as well as to Windows 11. So far, there have been no issues. My only complaint is that it has half the storage space as my old machines. But that was remedied by using my old machines as storage. I have many photos.

Boondoggle
I got the computer, turned it on and started setting it up. The programming trapped me into setting up with a PIN for Microsoft account to sign on. I was required to give a phone number without distinguishing whether it was land line or mobile. I have only a land line and gave that number.
Later in the process the PIN did not work, and I was required to request a onetime security code which was probably texted to my landline phone number. When I could not enter the security code, the programming locked me out of the computer for 30 days as a security measure until Microsoft is satisfied that my account is not being stolen.
Long story short, the computer is sitting unusable my me while I wait to see what Microsoft is going to do after 30 days.

Adequate PC
I needed to replace my old PC and had owned several HPs over the years which I really liked and trusted (I had one Dell in the mix). In searching and browsing several sites, I decided on the HP OmniDesk Slim Desktop. Mostly I am happy with it, but was disappointed that it didn’t come with a DVD drive nor a standard microphone input. I had to buy from a third party an external DVD drive and a dongle to convert my microphone jack to USB. I also learned the hard way that any apps or programs you install default to the cloud, so if, like me, you want to save your apps, programs, documents, etc., to your hard drive you need to change the default, which HP gives you no help with. Fortunately you can find the steps to resolve this via internet search. I also purchased a new HP printer about the same time and discovered that the HP scan software no longer scans documents to .rtf files, but only to PDFs, so you also need to purchase software to convert PDFs to .rtf if you don’t already have that capability. My disappointment comes from discovering that HP no longer seems to be interested in being user-friendly.

Nice machine at a good price.
Needed a Windows 11 capable desktop; no frills; no gaming and at a good price. The OmniDesk fit these requirements very well.
