Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from This was the easiest desktop to set up. It is my 4th HP desktop and it is perfect for my needs. I expect it to last a long time. The reason for my upgrade is because Windows no longer supports Windows 10. So here I am with Windows 11 and so far that hasn't caused any increase in anxiety. The HP runs perfect, fast and reliable. Thanks for another great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DaniDF from Worth the money I am not at all tech savvy, so I was very pleased with how easy this was to set up. Had to wait for it to do several updates, then was asked several questions regarding how much access I wanted HP/microsoft to have. I opted out of cloud (which I have never used and don't really want to start), and transferred my account/settings to the new computer. I was pleasantly surprised that it copied over all my bookmarks, and my home screen looks just like my previous HP set up. We were very happy with previous HP, but only has Windows 10. New one is completely quiet, smaller, and much faster-love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by pjw400 from Amazing desktop I currently have a 13 year old HP P7-1421 desktop and have decided to upgrade. During Black Friday sales 12/2025, I have found the M02-0095m on sale at $949.99 from $1,379.99. I was able to lock in the price for 24 hours thru HP chat by using PayPal as I search on HP website for other models that I might be interested that was on sale. The following day there was a flash sale for 4 hours in which the price was $849.99. Over $500 off from the regular sale price of $1,347.99, I couldn't pass up. Shipping was quick. Upon open the box, I have noticed the keyboard and mouse was wired instead of wireless per the website. Received the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse the next day, awesome service. The setup of the computer was easy as a lot of my files was on the Microsoft cloud even though I have an external drive with all of my files ready to restore. After signing into Microsoft, the files was restore to the new desktop as well as all of my bookmarks from Google was restored as I had Google sync on. I only have a couple of software that I need to re-install. Even though the newer desktop does not comes with a cd/dvd drive and a card reader, I was prepared and have purchased an external plug and play cd/dvd drive with card reader to re-installed the software. Because my HP HP w2007 monitor is 13 years old and have the DVI connection and the newer computer only have HDMI and Display Port connection, I was prepared and have purchased ahead a Display Port to HDMI cable for my t.v. and a DVI to HDMI cable to connect the HP w2007 monitor to the rear of the computer. This new HP M02-0095m desktop is much smaller and lighter than my old HP P7-1421 desktop. The speed is great in which I have noticed from my old HP P7-1421. The new M02-0095m (Windows 11) is my third HP desktop second with the AMD processor in which I am very pleased as my second HP P7-1421 (Windows 8/Windows 10) is an AMD processor that is 13 years old and still working. I'm very blessed to have previous HP desktops that haven't given me any problems and I am sure this new HP M02-0095m will not give me any problem and maybe will last more than 13 years just like my second HP desktop P7-1421.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mista from Was this a mistake? This computer is the only electronic device in my house that has a problem staying connected to my Wi-Fi. Not only does it disconnect from the Wi-Fi but the option to turn on the Wi-Fi and select a network is gone, I mean the box is missing so I have to restart the computer. Sometimes more than ounce. But the most recent problem is when I start any card game the casino ads freezes while the sound still plays. When the timer turns to an x no matter how many times, I push to close nothing happens. I have to restart the computer. I am really thinking about returning it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TyeM from Processing power Upon purchasing, I explained to the sales rep that I needed a computer with processing power that can handle audio, recording and music production. She recommended the gaming pc I currently have and it is not capable of processing and multitasking audio. The computer she recommended is good for gaming and not audio production.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Randall R from Good basic desktop PC, no frills, but very adequate Good value PC, nothing fancy but has everything you need for day to day use, adequate memory, good AMD CPU, large SSD capacity. Over the last few years, HP has cheapened the basic keyboard and mouse that come with the desktop, but they work. Also, I/O has been reduced to eliminate onboard SD slot, as well as a DVD drive...but more and more units are moving to USB C connected devices, so I guess the user has to get in the habit of providing. For years, HP had great SD etc. capability built in, but this is a no frills desktop that works great, but you won't be upgrading for gaming, but for what is need for email, internet, SSD storage and basic home computing it is a good value unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mary K. from Great desktop computer! I've had this desktop computer for a bit over a month -- and I'm thrilled with how it has been working. I was able to easily transfer my files from my older desktop (over 10 years old!) -- and now have been enjoying the speed of this new computer (and Windows 11).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gram2025 from Really nice computer. I bought this computer mainly to upgrade to Windows 11 as my other HP computer was not able to upgrade. I am very happy to have bought this one, so far I am truly enjoying it and the price was reasonable. I have bought HP's computers and printers in the past and have had a nice experience with them all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from A Senior Citizen's View. As a Senior Citizen, I appreciate the ease of using this computer. I'm still getting used to Windows 11, but HP makes it easier. I haven't had to use Customer Service yet, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. I only started using computers in 2006 and always had an HP because so many people I know recommended it for someone like me. I have not been disappointed. Perfect for any Senior.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Consumer Affairs from Pure Garbage, NO Support, NO Sympathy Since 1998, I've been buying HP computers exclusively. Each one has been wonderful, and exceeded all of my expectations. I've never had a single failure, and they hold their value longer than other machines. This PC was completely different. It was the most expensive HP that I ever purchased, and it was complete garbage. It crashed right out of the box brand new, and could not be repaired. I work in technology and I would have had to take the machine apart and install quality components in order for it to work. HP cut a lot of corners. Then I had a very difficult time getting service, and had to ship it back to them. I would not buy another HP

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Needs better quality control Common faulty desktop, loud click as either a fan startup or relay engages. Also the botton USB-C port is dead or not hooked up. It takes a good amount of time to update patches and from a cold start over 30 seconds to boot up. I loved my last two Pavilion machines. I thought this would be an upgrade at a good price. Google noise from HP OmniDesk, I returned the first machine they sent me, the second replacement has the same issue... very common.

Can it play a CD or dvd

Asked by: T-coon
Thank you for your question about the HP OmniDesk Desktop M02-0065m. That unit does not have a built-in optical disc drive to read CDs/DVDs. You would need to use an external like the HP External USB DVDRW Drive (F2B56AA) https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-external-usb-dvdrw-drive-p-f2b56aa-1 to read CDs and DVDs.
