Works great for HP Pavilion
Works great. Original adapter failed. Bought a generic adapter; didn't work. Ordered from HP website based on reviews on which adapter to purchase according to my laptop. Came; worked great. However, shipping was slow.

Great support..above & beyond
My cat , yes my cat chewed through my cord. I did not want to support a store which might not have the correct cord for my lap top. I have purchased many lap tops and my HP brand has been the most affordable and lasted without issues. I only buy new because I want ip dates.it was only natural for me to buy my replacement cord. Ive always had good survive even from the IT dept.

The HP 65W Smart AC Adapter
Purchased what was supposed to be "the" power supply for my HP monitor from Amazon. WRONG size sent. Returned it to wence it came, purchased the correct power supply from the HP Stores site, and now here I am the happy camper you see sitting in front of you today. It works just sooooo wonderful.

So Far So Good
So my other adapter just stopped working sooner than I thought it should. Anyway, the one I purchased arrived promptly. I'm expecting this one to last longer because it has more watts. It appears to charge faster but it doesn't last any longer between charges. Time will tell how well this continues to perform.
Price wise, well that's another story...
I prefer HP products for my devices but as far as this being a smart device, I'm not seeing that yet.

I already have the HP USB-C 65W Laptop Charger. If I don't want to use the USB-C port, will this adaptor work with the AC power connector on the Elitebook 630 G10 (Product number 8R939US)?

The HP Laptop PC 14-dq2035cl uses the 741727-001 which is a 45W 4.55mm barrel charger. You can contact HP Sales https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/hp-store-contacts#! for help with ordering that specific charger as the 65W 4.5mm would hurt the battery.
