Do I need to send the toner cartridge back once used?

Asked by: Chris Jett
Hello Chris and thank you for your question! No, the toner cartridge does not have to be sent back. If you wish to recycle the cartridge it can be dropped off at most office supply and electronic retail stores. I just purchased the HP Color LaserJet 5700. After less than a 1000 copies, not even full color pages it's saying I need to replace all the cartridges?? How is that possible when it says they're good for approximately 3000?

Asked by: KTrain
Thank you for your question! The declared toner yields are based on ISO/IEC 19798 and continuous printing. Actual yields vary considerably based on images printed and other factors. For details see https://www.hp.com/go/toneryield
