Excellent basic laptop
First 16" laptop I've had. I like the extra vertical screen space and it fits my 15.6" bags and packs fine. This laptop has two high speed USB C ports which support charging, monitors, LAN and data connections. Just one cable from the docking adapter is all that is required to connect to all the required periferals. Rubberized keyboard is great. USB C charger is very fast.

Transferring from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and the new 16-in Pavilion.
If for any reason this is probably just cuter and smaller than my old 17-in windows 10 unit. It's harder to see the screen it was very difficult to transfer everything from my Windows 10 to the this Windows 11 on the 16th inch Pavilion. It doesn't come with explicit instructions in the world of computers you would think it would be much easier to prepare Windows 10 as a package and just put the two of them together while you slept and it would suddenly be everything on your new laptop. But it took hours and hours and I am still not completely done and Windows 10 is acting up again, it was not a simple task.

HP is the only brand for me
My new HP laptop was just what I needed. My dinosaur HP (had it for about 10 years) was on its last legs with the keyboard and while I could have just replaced the keyboard, I'm sure there would have been other issues eventually although the dinosaur was pretty sturdy; after all, it was also an HP. I refuse to buy anything but HP as other brands have failed me early into their tenure as an electronic companion and with HP, I feel safe, secure, and protected as a consumer.

Terrible computer and wworse customer service experience ever.
The motherboard on this new laptop went out on me twice. The first time they replaced it, the second on did the same 2 weeks in except now they want to repair it after 2 HP tech supp and sending me to Best Buy for repair and a 2 hour on the phone walk through (at best buy geek support who already did this) for the third time of all the problems, the guy said they will not replace the defective one BUT will repair it. So now I wait to get the shipping label and I'm stuck with a defective PC with literally the worst IT experience I ever had in my life. DO NOT BUY HP unless you buy it from a store who will back up their products without hours of hassle.

Pretty Good/Not Bad!
The sound sometimes goes out and comes back. I’ve had a few random black screens—in terms of wallpaper, but that has stop. The mousepad is a bit off too.. i’ve tried altering the sensitivity, but its just the mousepad. It isn’t honestly too much of a problem, but I’d probably rely more on a mouse. Those are all the errors i’ve encountered having it for less than a 6 months.
