A Great Laptop
My husband and I call it a HP laptop versus a HP OmniBook X Flip 14 LT AI PC. My old non-HP laptop was still using Microsoft Office 2016 with Windows 10, and the battery life was declining. Consequently, my purchase.
My non-IT husband set it up for me by transferring files, installing Microsoft Office 2021. the laptop came with Windows 11,
My husband liked the price and features versus other options he researched.
It has a touch screen, which I really like. It is fast and battery life before recharging is great. The camera and other features work very well.
I like this laptop very much.

Easy to use - I love it.
I like this computer. I replaced an older version that I had for 15 years that was refurbished. These things last forever. I like the flip back - it's so much easier than the older version. I am not by any stretch of the imagination a computer person - I can barely turn it on. So, if I can use it with relative ease it's a keeper.

Holiday Disappoint
To begin, HP's packing is terrible. If you buy two laptops, they'll put them in a box far too large and will include little to no packing materials to ensure the devices do not bounce against each other. If you buy one of them, they will ship it in the product box that is not fully sealed. Then they will lie each time you complain about this and send the laptops back due to box damage, by claiming that the packing issue WILL be managed. So, this is how you end up buying 8 laptops, returning 6, and then giving up when the last 2 arrive in their product boxes with damage to the boxes. This will involve many, many hours in chats with HP personnel who will keep you online while they tend to multiple customers at the same time while you wait for a response that ends up being a lie. When you finally give up and keep the last two laptops, you will realize that design changes have left you with 2 laptops with an overly deep laptop keyboard base which is too long for your typing comfort with the keys too close together to allow you to feel them as separate keys. You'll realize that the black keys are difficult to see in lower light, and the only way to manage it is to keep the backlighting on constantly. You'll note that the "backspace" key is further away, and to use it means a difficult stretch of your pinky or lifting your right hand from the keyboard to fumble for the backspace key. And since it's been a few years since you had a new HP laptop, you will also have to retrain yourself that the DELETE key has been swapped with the power key (different from the HP laptop you currently have) . Finally, after all of this, you will resign yourself to the fact that HP is no longer the company you knew and loved through more than 20 years of loyal purchases. That they have become a corporation without real customer service. This entire issue will take a month to manage, as you load up your credit card with $6K to get laptops before Xmas. You keep the last 2 because a visit to a local electronics store reveals that ALL the makers of laptops are going with scrunched keyboards (no space between letters), and far too much space between keyboard and space for the touchpad area and you. So you keep the last 2 laptops, and curse it every time you use it, your wrists chaffing due to the pressure of the base's edge.

Off to a good start
This OmniBook X Flip 14-inch laptop was purchased to replace an 8 year old HP Spectre 13 inch laptop. I was disappointed that a like model Spectre was no longer offered by HP. The OmniBook appeared to be a similar design. I have been impressed by the quality of the HP laptop over many years of service. Others in my family have purchased other makes which always end up with problems, particularly with the display hinges. The OmniBook X appears to have the same well designed hinges as the 8 year old Spectre, which are still as solid as when it was new.
At this time, I have only had the OmniBook for a couple weeks. It has been relatively easy to move from the Windows 10 Spectre to the new Win 11 OmniBook.
When ordering, the OmniBook features were customized and upgraded;
- 1TB drive,
- Intel Core Ultra 7 256V,
- Intel Wi-Fi 7 / Bluetooth 5.4,
- 3K OLED display.
I am so glad that I upgraded the display. It is BEAUTIFUL. The brightness, sharpness, and colors are eye grabbing! The touch screen is very responsive without being overly sensitive (of course sensitivity is adjustable.)
I miss the Spectre offering in that the machine was very nicely styled. It has a distinctly sharp appearance and the 13” size made it very portable and comfortable for use as a tablet. On the other hand, the 14” OmniBook is barely bigger than the Spectre. I appreciate the additional ports the OmniBook X offers. Now I’m looking forward to many years of service. Hoping for the same level of quality that I enjoyed in the past.

Very good laptop, nice screen, light and portable, works fast and keeps up with my (moderate) but consistent usage. (I am a medical student). Sleek design, nothing so crazy quick about the computer but definitely good.
