Love this but some things are left to be desired.
This little laptop has really impressed me in many ways, and left something to be desired in others. Let’s start with the good.. I love that it is light weight. I travel a lot so I needed something that wouldn’t weigh down my carry on. Weighing less than a 2liter of sods, this baby can go anywhere! It’s also fast! My old laptop was just that, old, 11 years to be exact. So maybe all laptops run this fast these days, or maybe this one is an exception. But either way, the time to turn on and off, including updating, as well as the time it takes to pull up a web page is a fraction of what I’m used to and I’ve really been enjoying that. I LOVE that it came with a pen and can go into tablet mode. I honestly didn’t think that I would use that feature as much as I do. But it has come in so handy, especially when sitting in a middle seat of an airplane. Moving on to the bad - I hate that it uses copilot. I don’t use AI or trust AI and I can’t figure out how to uninstall it. In tablet mode, I often accidentally hit that button and get stuck in a little loop of trying to figure out how to get out of AI mode. I know using it more often and becoming more familiar with it will help. But as a learning curve aspect, this is annoying and I wish there were an easy way to turn that off. I also struggle when attaching the pen. It has a magnetic spot on the side and it really does hold well. But if you attach it too close to the hinge, it turns the screen off. It’s really not that big if a deal but it is a minor annoyance and again, just using it more will help with that. It also doesn’t have buttons on the track pad. You just press on the pad near the bottom. I do struggle a lot to right click. It feels like the right click input happens pretty much just in the bottom right 3cm or so rather than going to half way across the pad. But I also often use a wireless mouse. Overall I am very impressed and like this little laptop a lot. It came easy to set up, charges fast, stays alive a long time, and travels well. Definitely worth the money!

Wish I Had It To Review
I can’t review what I never received. This was ordered specifically for my son for college. My first order was placed 2/12/26 and was supposed to be shipped by 3/6. On 3/19 the computer wasn’t delivered and had been sitting at the FedEx facility 20 miles from my house for 4 days. On 3/20 HP decided to cancel the order and ship the computer back to their facility in Pennsylvania and then order another one to be built. HP did make a concession on the price which I did appreciate. The new one was supposed to be expedited and was supposed to be shipped on 4/6 per the HP Order Status on their website. On 4/7 the online status wasn’t showing any shipping info so I called HP Customer Service to see where the computer was and was told it was on its way. I asked for a manager to check on the status. That evening the status was “updated” to a shipping date of 4/20. Given what has happened so far I have my concerns that it will actually be shipped by then. I’ve ordered from HP previously and never had this problem.

Sleek new laptop
The laptop is sleek, fast, and well laid out. However, it closes so tight that it is slightly hard to open it and I would suggest making a notch at the corner to assist in opening the lid. Additionally, a finger print reader would be useful though facial recognition works well. Having a dedicated CoPilot key is helpful too.

Good laptop
No complaints so far. I wish the keyboard was was smaller and had soft keys vice harder larger keys. The option for integrated fingerprint scanner would be nice. Those are very minor preferences and do not detract from the overall performance of the pc.

Couldn't register new computer without HP support
Was unable to register my new Omnibook computer because HP didn;t keep its data bases updated and integrated. Look at notes on case 5156744031 CRM:0104285002089 if you're interested. Also wanted to purchase a carrying case for computer but it is/was not available. New computer is great, services and support not so much!

Powerful and some great features.
Because of my careful use, my previous laptop lasted way beyond its life. I purchased this one after it fully ran out. I wanted to have enough experience, including carrying it in my bag, to be able to provide insightful feedback. What I appreciate the most is the power of this version, the overall color, and the high-definition camera and acoustics. However, I do not like this keyboard and it is much heavier than my previous laptop. The charging cord is clunky.

They’ve replaced real people with chatbots that gaslight you, force you into diagnostic loops, and then — when none of that works — tell you to “create a support request” that disappears into a black hole with zero follow-up.No callbacks that ever arrive.
No escalation that actually escalates.
No live person who can say, “I hear you, let me fix this.”Just cold, arrogant abandonment dressed up as “modern self-service”.Meanwhile, Apple actually provides accessible human support — you can walk into an Apple Store, book a Genius Bar appointment, and talk face-to-face with trained experts who inspect your device, run diagnostics, explain options, and handle repairs right there.
