A Complete Waste of Money
Don't bother buying this. We have two days-old laptops that I can't set up because of an error code, and I was told by an exceptionally rude HP technician that we'd have to pay to get the code corrected. We buy a lot of laptops for our business, but I'll never buy another anything from HP again.

Beware
It was a cheap piece of junk. Arrived with greasy fingerprints all over it. Very cheap looking materials. The USB ports were too small, and the screen had a gray cast. Now I have to pay a restocking fee to return a laptop that won't work correctly. There is something wrong with this picture... I can't comment on the care pack, because It will be canceled once my return is processed. I am so disappointed.

Great computer unless you want Google
This computer is a quality HP product. Everything works as advertised. My only problem is that I prefer Google over Microsoft, but this computer is set up to accept Microsoft only. When I tried to manually load my Google account, Microsoft interjected with controls over Google that were intrusive, and compromised my contacts list. I thought the browser choice would have been mine but I guess not. I have an old HP computer that I can dedicate to Google, but I shouldn't have to do that.

To Soon To Tell, But Love HP
To soon to tell if the care pack was worth the money,... but if you don't use it, they refund you. So the question is, are the confident you won't use it and will be happy to get your money back, building loyalty, or are they confident you will need it because they don't make a good product. I don't know how it will play out but I have been very happy with a previous HP laptop and have abandoned DELL after 20 years of buying Dells because when I did need support HP WAS GREAT and DELL stunk.

pay up front good for a time
Its like a new car you can do nothing but get rid of it if something goes wrong & no warranty for what you pay it should come with a longer warranty or like a phone be able to trade old in on new one
