Valorant edition of the 35L is awesome
Really glad I purchased this PC! Performance has exceeded expectations so far. No issues at all. It is very easy to work on, panels pop right off with great access to internal components. One of the cable connections was a bit awkward to reach, but not impossible. I use this for some gaming, photo editing, and general computing tasks and it is a perfect fit for those tasks.

Disappointment
What a disappointment. This was a Christmas gift for my son and right out of the box it sounded like a jet landed in his room. It looks pretty with the lights, but the fans are super loud and can hear the pc outside of the room. I contacted support yesterday and of course it was AI, but it did have me check things I had already done, so it was accurate. Its final thought was that it is hardware related. And for $1800, I do not plan on getting it fixed. Rating a 2 until it is refunded or replaced with a new one. Luckily, I have 30 days, so let's see what they say.

Omen, but not of good things to come...
I thought this PC was going to be fast and also made sure it had lots of RAM.
It is not fast at all, even when it is not going to the internet. It seems slower than the 8 year old PC it replaced. I am not much of a gamer so cannot tell if it is great in that area or not. It lags playing MS games.

Awesome Gaming Machine
Beautiful Sleek and Quicker than my Games. It doesn't bog down or take anytime to update when I use my 3D Art Software. Runs multiple 3D Printers without and issues.
One of the Best PC's I have got from HP! I am also quite happy with my interaction with Customer Service.

Great for Video Editors
I am not a gamer but I need lots of video and editing power and that is exactly what I get from this customized 35L. I have been jealous of my partner's 30L for a few years and now I feel like I can keep up. My partner just got an OmniPro 7 17 inch laptop too. We are HP all the way!

Great Prebuilt Core Ultra 9 for Reasonable Price
I received this 5 days ago. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I was debating buying a prebuilt computer or building one. I decided the cost was very similar. I considered the AMD 9950X3D prebuilts, but for mainstream vendors, the cost was higher than this computer's price. For what I will use the computer for, the Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 285K CPU is good enough for me.
Pros:
- Nice looking computer. I am not into the gaming aesthetic, but I find the RGB lighting tasteful.
- Reasonable price for what you get. A 5080 graphics card is $1000 of the purchase price.
- Very quiet during routine use. When pushing it, it is still reasonably quiet.
- Relatively easy to work on. I added a second NVME SSD (Samsung 990 Pro, 4 TB) and a 3.5" spinning HD (
Seagate IronWolf 12TB). Note: A heat sink is not supplied for the second NVMe. I bought the Samsung with the heatsink. It just fits under the graphics card. Larger heatsinks will not work. SATA cable and power was already wired for the 3.5" spinning HD.
- Supports 128 GB of memory; the Alienware computers only support 64 GB of RAM.
- Build quality is good. Cable management is reasonable.
- Quality components.
- Has a Thunderbolt port
- Pack well for shipping. Delivered very fast.
Cons:
- Uses Windows 11 Home. I will upgrade to Windows 11 Professional
- Uses Mini-ITX motherboard. With a case this size, it could use an ATX motherboard
- The graphics card obstructs the second PCIe slot. The RTX 5080 is a big card.
- Have to remove the graphics card to install the second NVMe SSD.
- With the memory shortage, I am unable to find a reasonably priced 64 GB RAM Expansion. (Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 RGB Memory 6000 MT/s)
- Only a 2.5 GbE wired Ethernet port.
- More bloatware than I would like
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I will keep my eye open for the RAM upgrade. I would recommend this over the Alienware Aurora or Area 51, and the Lenovo Legion. I also considered Maingear and Origin PC, but they cost more.

My first Gaming Computer
My previous PC would not fulfill the full potential of a newly purchased Omen 34c G2 Monitor that I purchased so I purchased this Omen35L which runs all my applications from the past and I am sure the future. What a blessing to be able to run my FSX SE and FS2020 at full tilt and more realism than I have ever been able to experience. It is extremely quiet and easy to access the inside for cleaning and adding future equipment. FAST and QUIET without the heat.

My First Gaming Desktop is Great! (OMEN 35L)
This is my first gaming-dedicated desktop and I'm loving it. It's exceeded my expectations of most of what I thought it would be like.
For the setup experience, I've really been unable to push to its limits, so far! But that's part of why I got the powerhouse - I wanted it to be more than half of what I needed for my usual dual monitor (one is a drawing display tablet) and moderate gaming and drawing activities.
Improvements:
I can't think of any improvement areas, other than size. Then again, I'm new to gaming dedicated desktops and they are probably beefy in design for several good engineering reasons. I had to get creative with its placement and sit it on my desk's top shelf to keep its intake fans from sucking up too much floor-level dust and pet hair and also because there was little space to keep it at floor-level anyway. Luckily, it all worked out, and it's big for a reason, so not a concern anymore.
Now the lights... they attract a lot of attention. I didn't care for them when I planned to buy it, only the hardware performance. But the family loves them almost like a moth to a light. Maybe future versions could use more lights, somewhere, doing something?!
Overall, it's an excellent desktop and hope to use it 7 to 10 years before upping to a new computer!

Take it or...
Hardware is per website specs. Lots of options to choose from. Arrived early. All seamed well. Then, I tried to open the optionally purchased MS Office 2014. Need the authentication code. About 2 hours over 2 days asking for my code or a refund for the software. Passed around between HP reps 5 times and each one insisted that they had already forwarded an email with the code. My point is, buy your software anywhere else. Spend your HP dollars on the hardware and you will likely be happy with your 35L. If you throw away any of your money on software from HP, you experience the sales and tech support that will leave you with a bit of buyers remorse. The three stars are because like it or not, getting what you pay for is a huge factor in how well I perceive the quality of the product. Works fine but, not what I paid for.

Awesome gaming Desktop PC! Was able to get what I wanted.
Awesome gaming Desktop PC! Was able to get what I wanted. I have an Omen gaming Laptop from 2019 and was pretty top shelf in its day. I also got an Omen gaming Laptop for my wife more for photo editing and stuff like that due to gaming computers have much better graphic cards.
I got this 35L because I retired and like to game on my Xbox One X and have been looking at doing more gaming and didn't want the system to be any part of the reason I am less successful than I could be. This PC has tons of the latest tech and speed like crazy! What finally sold me on staying with HP was it finally had liquid cooling on an affordable machine. I was finding them elsewhere and almost pulled the trigger but waited a bit and ran into a HP sale and noticed as I spec'd out one last time I saw I could get the liquid cool with a better set up and with the sale it kept it reasonable soooo, I bought it. I realistically could not justify or was I willing to spend the money for a fully load 45L and not sure I could use all that it would have so this 35L is perfect for everyday use and rocks for gaming. It is so fast and responsive, kinda blows me away! I think this is worth it and will have this for many years to come and finally bought closer to the front end of tech changing rather than discounts because they have way newer tech!
Here is a partial list of the biggies:
--Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 265F (up to 5.3 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 30 MB L3 cache, 20 cores, 20 threads)
--Kingston FURY 64GB DDR5-5600 MT/s (1) XMP RGB Heatsink (4 x 16 GB)
--NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5080 (16 GB GDDR7 dedicated
--2 TB PCIe® Gen4 NVMe™ M.2 SSD
--240 mm aRGB liquid cooler
Of coarse I really wanted to stay with HP and their warranty which I have used a few times over the years plus phone support was grt8. Since 2005 bought my laptops, kids for school, wife for all the fun stuff she does and then on to gaming, phots etc. 10 or 12 over those years.

Time to stop buy HPs
Product worked for 2 weeks then wouldn't power on. HP made the exchange process a challenge so now it's in with repairs. The repair is going to take over a month, which is longer than the time I first ordered it to the time I got it.

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT PURCHASE
I am not happy with this PC or process at all. I purchased a BRAND NEW custom build PC from the official site and have had nothing but problems. First off, non of my USB or USB-C ports worked on my PC. So, I contacted support and they tried to fix it remotely and could not. So, they said that I needed to send it in for repair, at their expense. They sent the wrong shipping box, which pushed back the time I can return the PC. Then I sent it in for repair and they informed me that HP did not have the part that was needed to FIX my tower. So they made me wait an additional two weeks for HP to get the part in. Now, that I FINALLY have my PC back from HP, I went to turn it on and there is ANOTHER SOFTWARE issue. BUT to fix my computer again, I will be charged extra, for something that had nothing to do with me. I was supposed to get my PC repaired in working condition and it never was in proper working condition. The best part, HP is now telling me I can't return the tower because I am past the 30 day mark. 100% HP is at fault here. If there were no problems with the PC I won't have to worry about the 30 period, but because their own team took longer than 30 to repair my "NEW PC TOWER" I have to pay the price to fix it again and I am stuck with their AWFUL product. I am needing a supervisor to contact me before this situation escalates.

All White Omen 35L with a 4080 super!
I have had this pc for a few weeks now. This has been an amazing experience. As a former Omen 30L owner, HP really listened to its consumers and made a lot of improvement on their prebuilt with the Omen 35L. Modular power supply, Omen parts, and great airflow has been a breath of fresh air. I love my old omen, she treated me good, but this new all white one with a 4080 super has really left a good impression on me! Its so much quieter on ultra settings, which has been a joy to see! good job Omen!
Side Note: the GPU power cord was over the top of the graphics card, a lot of videos showed it being under, it looked cleaner that way, the former felt cluttered lol. I just accessed the back and was able to make that adjustment easily with no stress, a testament to the cable management, and easy access of the this PC!

Buy it, get the upgraded components. Seriously
This is the second customized gaming PC I have bought from HP. The first one is several years old and is still working well, but game graphics have advanced so much, it was time for a new computer. Choosing options was simple, and I received my order much faster than originally promised which was a nice surprise. The most important part: this gaming PC works exactly as expected right out of the box. All the hardware was installed, including the graphics card which was mounted on a very sturdy support bracket. Powered on and set up personal profiles with no issues. Then on to gaming-my son put it through its paces with the most advanced games he has, and it ran them with no issues. Diagnostics-I did run some testing to check for overheating and CPU issues. The cooling system does its job pretty well. I did notice some power throttling during testing, but in use during gaming, this was not noticeable, only during extreme stress testing. It has been 2 weeks, and everything is working well. Would definitely purchase again. (Download Omen gaming center to customize lighting and control fans etc.) No, I was not influenced or compensated by HP in any way to write this review. If you don't want to completely hand build a gaming PC from individually purchased components, this is the way to go.

missing parts, faulty configuration.
The product was listed as having liquid 240 mm cooling. The product shipped to me only had 120 mm air cooling. Desktop shipped with same problem 3 times. Took 73 days of waiting and 16 hours on the phone eventually and all they did was change the specs on the website and then gaslight me that the website never had that as a part for this particular model.

Omen 35L Very Happy with Purchase
I got the Omen 35L GT16-0000t, customized it with the (I7 14700F CPU, 32 gigs DDR5 @ 6000m/t, and the RTX 4060), also got the Omen 32q monitor, HyperX core keyboard (membrane), HyperX Haste core wireless mouse, and HyperX Cloud Alpha wired headphones during the Black Friday sale. I have worked with computers for many years. Usually I build my own. This time I decided to go with pre built if it seemed reasonable, also less hassle and researching of parts.
Well I have had this setup for about a month and half. I must say everything has lived up to and beyond my expectations. I appreciate Omen giving me control over most of the computer. By that I mean in the bios you can make a custom DDR 5 profile or use the hp one at 6000 m/t. I have been able to get my memory up to 6600 m/t and at a CL38, with adjusting the memory voltage to 1.27. Also yes the I7 14700f is multiplier locked from Intel. But there is an Extreme setting in the Bios and Omen Gaming hub that lets the normally 65 watt TDP chip run at 100 watts. I got the stock 4 heat pipe air cooler, I did get some top rated thermal paste and repasted the CPU, I also customized the fan curves in Omen Gaming hub so with the extreme mode activated the CPU idles at 35 to 38 Celsius and during stress tests it go up to 88 to 90 Celsius. Under the 100 c max . The ambient temperature here is about 80.
The gpu RTX 4060 has its voltage locked down, but I used a gpu tuner and was able to up my gpu core 225 MHz, and the gpu memory upped 500 mhz. Thank Omen for letting us us our computers how we want. When you run benchmarks for my setup I am closing in on the more powerful stock intel I9 CPU.
Now I did add a 140 mm fan in the top rear (exhaust). And i did remove the HDD holder on the bottom and added a reverse 120 mm fan (intake) it fit perfect and there is a dust filter there already. Now I see Omen is going to sell some components so I may get original Omen parts when available.
I will agree with some people saying the Omen Gaming Hub is a little flaky, and it does error on occasion., sometimes it takes a long time to load, sometimes it loads right away. Also I did get a Samsung 990 pro and I replaced the original SSD which was a Western digital 750 I believe, not bad, but the Samsung is faster, I will say the read speed of the original drive was about 6800 . But i do have an issue when I use the second SSD slot, when booting it doesn't want to recognize the 2 drive. I just use it in an enclosure through a USB port for now. It seems like a bios issue, hopefully an update will fix that. Really I cant think of anything else, well except maybe Windows 11 having issues as we all know. In my mind I think this Omen 35L was a great purchase. It looks good and runs everything I want to do. And you can customize and add parts to your liking.
Oh and the Omen 32q monitor looks great it has 165 MHz refresh rate and is 1440p resolution with great color right out of the box. As for the headphones, keyboard and mouse there are working and looking great.
