Not happyI’m really not happy with this particular Hp printer. I’ve had hp before but this one is not my favorite. It’s very touchy & doesn’t work a lot of the time. I have to shut it off and restart it quite often. The power cord that is attached from the electric outlet to the back of the printer falls out of its place very often. It isn’t a tight connection. Also the ink holding tank is difficult to see how much ink is remaining. Right now it’s dead in the water. This printer is a replacement printer from last Dec of 2024. I’m very frustrated!!

No height adjustment & Buy your own cableThe monitors are OK good color and good resolution. They are not height adjustable. That fact escaped me when I made my purchase. My other reason for the 3 rating: I bought the monitors as a duel monitor package. That's not really what you get. What you get is two monitors. Both monitors come with HDMI to HDMI cables. The video card has one HDMI connection and 3 Video Port connections. To use both monitors you have to buy an HDMI to Video Port cable.

Just okay. The instructions to set up aren't really that clear. What is annoying is the buttons to make adjustments are under the screen. You have to figure out what each button does because there are no labels. This is irritating. Of course, you can go and download the instruction manual, but why put the buttons underneath without labels? Not as sharp as my old H/P monitor which I had for over five years before it stopped working. Just okay for the price.

HP Support SucksI ordered 2 items:
- HP's service is very bad. I received my HP OmniDesk Desktop AI PC, which comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse.
- HP Series 5 23.8 inch FHD Height Adjust Monitor - 524sh
Both were delivered on July 2, 2025. However, the USB receiver for the wireless devices which makes the devices useless. After multiple chats with robots, emails with serial numbers of mouse and keyboard, and phone calls, they sent me $70 credit. They, the manufacturers of the devices with their name on them, COULDN'T REPLACE the items!
The monitor works, but I am getting frequently a small message on a black screen that my HDMI signal is not getting signal because the contacts/connection may be bad. I replaced the cable, but it didn't fix the problem. Because I was fighting for the USB receiver, I didn't work on this issue much. After my experience I dread to start another chase with HP support.

HP 524sa FHD MonitorThe monitor's display is exceptional. However, the speakers and sound system is apocryphal....I specifically ordered the display with speakers to replace my old HP display (about 10 years old) with speakers that are actually quite good in comparison with the new. How HP can improve the display technology and then regress in the sound technology associated with the display is beyond me. I'm to the point where I'm just about to return the display to HP because of the very poor sound quality.

Disappointed with upgradeBoth are HP? Bought this new HP monitor to go with my new HP computer. Unlike my new smart tv this monitor does not shut off when I shut off the computer. My Smart TV will shut off when I shut off my game console or other HDMI input equipment.
"Eye Comfort Shield" The brightness of this monitor hurts my eyes even in "night" mode.
The sound is not as clear and crisp as I would hope for nor as loud as this hard of hearing old man needs.
The resolution is better than my 20 year old previous monitor but not sure the price is worth the upgrade.
I purchased it when pressured into upgrading.
It does work as expected but not a stellar improvement on my old Dell monitor and Compaq speakers.
If you have a working monitor keep the one you have.

I'm Happy With ItI needed a new monitor so thought I'd go bigger. I still had to be mindful of the size but this one fits perfectly. One of the reps helped me choose it. I needed one with internal speakers because just don't have room on my desk for a pair of external ones.
The only two things I don't love are 1. the weight of the stand. I wish it was a little more sturdy. 2. Where the on/off button is. It's under the bottom of the screen and I would prefer it at the top. But that's just me and so minor it wasn't enough to make me look elsewhere.
The colors are bright and sharp. I would have included a picture but don't see where to do it.

Great monitor a desk with a monitor cubby cutout.Great monitor. The previous monitor was also an HP monitor but started to have issues. Wouldn't come on when the new pc came out of sleep. The older monitor had a broader bezel on it and made it look bigger in the space we have on this desk. The new HP monitor fits the space really well and the images are crisp on it. Good purchase.

Black mark in displayThe monitor is very identical with HP24mh with a little bit better display (better nits). But build quality of the wire holder is really bad. It came out broken (it's not a big deal sometimes as it hides behind the monitor). Major problem was that my monitor has a tiny black (hair like) mark which is visible under the white display. These types of monitors shouldn't pass QC. I needed a monitor badly and was not in a situation of returning. Their replacement policy is not friendly, I have to return first, they will receive it; recheck the monitor; and then they will issue a replacement, which might take two to three weeks, even a month. I am still using with these two issues. I wish they would sent me a replacement first, that way it wouldn't hamper my work/

The monitor arrived damaged, so I returned it.I don't know what the monitor is like if it arrives in working order. Mine arrived damaged. HP gave me a full refund, though the process was a bit tedious. The monitor appeared to have a textured screen surface, which I didn't much care for.

New Monitor a joy to useHello All, recently purchased our new monitor directly from HP. Their numerous selection
made it difficult to chose. Our main concern was size. Our desk has shelves above to work under. The quality was never a problem. The picture is sharp and clear. It's amazing and
makes our time on the PC enjoyable.

Seeking to connect a monitor to a Hp Pavilion 15t-egooo prod.# 9y535AV, and what else would I need? Trying to get a dual monitor set up, but don’t have a desktop
Asked by: Gigi ok
Hello. Thanks for your question. You can use a USB C docking station with your HP Pavilion 15t-eg000 laptop. You want to be sure the docking station has the video ports, i.e. HDMI, that are on the monitors.
For example, this HP Series 5 23.8 inch FHD White Monitor - 524sw has 1 HDMI port and 1 VGA port. If you want to connect via the HDMI port on 2 monitors, you would need a USB C docking station with 2 HDMI ports.

Thank you for your interest in the HP Series 5 23.8 (94C21AA). That is just a monitor and does not have a computer with it. There are All-in-One computers with the CPU built into the monitor like the one HP All-in-One 24-cr0000m https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-all-in-one-24-cr0000m-238-947r8av-1 that will also include a keyboard and mouse. how to make sound come out of speakers on monitor? My sound not on
Asked by: Andrea's HP
Thank you for your question! Sound will typically come through via the HDMI port. Make sure the proper sound output is chosen. To access sound settings on Windows 11, you can: right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar, then select "Sound settings"; alternatively, you can search for "Sound settings" in the Windows search bar and open it from there.
