Rated 2 out of 5 by PhotoEditing from Lacks ability to mod/expand My fault, but I didn't think a full-size desktop wouldn't have the ability to add an additional internal hard drive....or anything other than more RAM. Turns a good-looking PC into a disappointment for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great computer just needed a few features that were not available. I really like my new computer; it has many nice features. I would have preferred to be able to get it with a card reader and CD drive. I don't understand why these features are not available on new HP computers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from HP OmniDesk AI M03 Big Improvement Over Previous 6 Year Old Desktop My new HP OmniDesk AI M03-0000t desktop replaced my old HP Envy 795-0025t desktop purchased in July of 2019 which had become slow and did not work well moving to Windows 11 upon Microsoft's end of support for Windows 10. I love the fact that my new OmniDesk is so fast. Everything I do now is so responsive. It was easy to get set up and working. I can't comment on long-term reliability since I've only been using it for a few weeks but so far, I am loving it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by disappointed---HP from HP has failed me and I am unwilling to indemnify HP This replacement has failed as well and once again, --after repeated attempts with tech support-- I'm left with no desktop computer and many many many lost hours with HP trying to solve the problems and, finally agreeing to a replacement which now is also delayed. Awful service, I wonder what HP will do if this leads to my needing physical help that I cannot get because of your poor responses, follow ups, and concern. You do not talk one dept to another and certainly not to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rahj from Sluggish and Not Sure Why, but Recommend We purchased the HP OmniDesk Desktop AI M03-0173t PC for personal home use. It is primarily used for internet, email, editing photographs, genealogy, etc. We are retirees and do not use it for gaming, streaming, videography. The specs are double what we had for RAM, storage, etc; however, it really seems to be bogged down. As we have had it less than a month and it is holiday time, I have not been able to devote time to troubleshooting. It was purchased due to the Windows 11 requirement, but, thus far, it is not as good as the PC is replaced. It could be Win 11 causing the sluggishness or AI or any number of things. At this time, I think I would recommend it if you need a new PC with the identified specs. The purchasing process was very easy via www.hp.com. The delivery was as expected. And setup was as easy as any change of computer can be. Overall I have not complaints, but my expectations were that it would be lightning fast with the specs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by D. Langford from HP OmniDesk desktop AI PC, configured as delivered with Windows 11. The Bad: The machine came configured for gamers and social medial mavens. It was not useful for serious work and record keeping. Apparently StorageSense immediately erased 20 years of automobile driving and maintenance records (among other things). I still can't figure out how FileExplorer or OneDrive work - File Explorer rarely shows what drive I'm attached to (cloud, local or a USB remote), if in fact they do, and not all of my local files are shown, especially when I desperately need THAT file. My proprietary work has most likely been copied to someone else's storage system (a security risk). At this point, I have lost almost a month's productive work time in trying to configure the machine to be useful. The diagnostic software was unable to identify a failing router. The AI makes far too many judgement mistakes - I will do my own thinking, thank you. Windows 11 has too many options to be useful for the average user. A tech who came in indicated he and a number of friends have gone to Linux just to be rid of Microsoft and Windows. Between an operating system that many users despise, and a State Governor who want to tax Microsoft out of business (...insatiable appetite for money...), I'd be surprised if Microsoft is still in business in ten years. The Good: Except for missing and/or hidden files (that shouldn't be missing), operations appear to be fast and reliable. Initial physical setup was easy; pretty much plug and play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from unexpected investment I needed a computer. I pondered many options. With pray, I decided on the hp desktop which I have now. I'm so very pleased. It was a healthy investment. It works so well and makes my time on the computer much more pleasant. It's the 1st I've ever purchased. All the rest were from friends, a library and a gift. It is definitely an investment due to my financial position. Again, I'm so very thankful to have it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by 1EBD from My expectations have been shattered with the Transition from my old Computer to New Computer. Please review case #5151617330. That case has been closed without my input even though we are not finished. WHY? Have had my new computer about two weeks and it is still not functionable. Lap link did not work. Had to purchase a standalone drive ($70+) to take information from old computer to be downloaded to new computer. So far, I have partial e-mail, no calendar, no documents from old computer, no apps from old computer, and no plan to get me fully migrated. I get a different tech every time I call and have to explain to them what needs to be accomplished. I was unaware how much personal time I have already had to commit and what is expected of me to get this to end of job. Salesman told me that HP has a dedicated team that would perform the transition and that transition would be quick not days or weeks. That has not been my experience.

Rated 3 out of 5 by sag1 from Missed he boat While my 2 new HP PC's are fast and very quiet. I was unaware of the total lack of their upgradeability. The included hard drive is part of the motherboard; there are no additional slots for more SSD hard drives, and virtually no additional slots for other peripherals that need to be attached to the motherboard. Plus, there are not enough USB 3 ports on the back, Lastly, no Windows 11 Pro installation disk in case of a total reinstall. Of course, I guess that would be moot since there is no way to attach an internal DVD player. I can attach an external DVD drive but would have to disconnect one of my other peripherals first.. I've always used Dell and Asus in the past, so since I have several HP printers that have served me well, I decided on these two PC's.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Functionality Reasonable size with a fast ssd drive. Ample ram and various ports for external devices. Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from HP OmniDesk Desktop Review I must admit that I was not expecting a solid-state drive computer to perform well, as I had been using an old HP Pavilion since 2013, which ran on a physical hard drive. I was looking for a new hard drive computer, but I could not find one. So, I turned to the HP OmniDesk Desktop computer, which features an i-Core 7, 14th-generation solid-state drive, and includes 16 GB of RAM. I am surprised how well it performs. It has a quick processor, which allows me to have more programs running simultaneously. It has a quick startup, and the installation process was quick and easy. No hangups were detected so far. I use the desktop for research, compiling data, writing and editing reports, shopping, and entertainment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Oregon Old Timer from Computer Good: Windows 11 Bad The computer came with Windows 11 installed. I'm an old man and hate wasting what time I have left learning new stuff when old stuff works just fine. I hate Windows 11. Every change from Windows 10 that I've encountered is a step back. Before M'soft ended W10 support, I download W10 installation media and W10 drivers. Now I'm try to work up the nerve to install Windows 10. Besides familiarity, another upside is that M'soft won't be bothering me with updates.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Z a P from Solid Desktop but be Prepared to Set Up on Your Own. Solid desktop but a bit harder to setup than most. Don't pay for Smart Friend since HP transfers you to a "special desk" then puts you on hold for over an hour but never answers calls. Be prepared to find answers and fix issues on your own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Diemque from A Senior's Adjustment to New Tech My motivation was that my older desktop computer would not allow W11. I did extensive research, but limited to either Dell or HP.... Overall, Dell remains a conservative business model, while HP is more stylish, offers a better variety of systems and desktops. I am very pleased with the overall performance and with professional assistance, was able to transfer all of my programs. It also compliments my HP monitor.
