Can't fully boot 9/10 times after less than a year, not recommended
I've had this computer for only a few months and am already having horrible horrible unresolvable issues with it. Ever since I updated to NVIDIA graphics driver version 580.88, it has been an absolute nightmare (and I have already reverted back to old driver version, and removed old driver files with DDU). I have collectively spent more than 30 hours trying to troubleshoot the issue to no avail. Computer has issues booting every time, 9/10 times it won't even get far enough into it's boot sequence to turn on peripherals (mouse, keyboard, displays) and this is after extensive extensive troubleshooting spanning countless hours. CMOS has already been cleared, system scanned for corrupted files (which were found but resolved initially), I have taken every single step possible and am getting no results, and I am a Network Engineer / Penetration tester so I am very familiar with troubleshooting tech. This should not be happening on a computer that is less than a year old. I wish I had never bought this computer. Really hoping I can get a refund thru the warranty because I don't ever want another HP product again. This has been a total nightmare. Was planning on building out this PC but there's no way in heck I'm doing that now this thing can hardly even boot into OS it's having so many issues. Event logs galore showing all sorts of insurmountable issues. I have computers that are more than 10 years old that don't have the serious malfunctions that this computer has.
Also as a side note of extreme annoyance with this PC right out of the box, despite all of the photos of this product showing ARGB fan lighting, and even HP Light Assistant leading you to believe that you have ARGB lighting, this PC (HP Omen 40L) does NOT have ARGB lighting whatsoever. That was a major turn off right out the box, and it took me hours and hours to fully confirm this. Not sure why they would advertise photos of this product with ARGB lighting when it doe not have it.
