No Power Adapter
Overall it works great but a power adapter was not included. I ordered it separately so I wouldn't drain my laptop when using the dock.

HP sales rep provided inaccurate information
HP customer service (sales) stated the hub would work with my HP laptop. I provided S/N and model and advised the sales rep that the USB-C port had limited capabilities. The HP rep reiterated that the hub will work. Ultimately, the hub did not work and it needed to be returned and amount paid refunded

Doesn’t Work – No Support from HP
I bought this dock and it never worked—not even once. I tested it with multiple computers, including a brand new one, and it still didn’t function, only working usb ports. Since the first day, I’ve been trying to return it, but HP support was extremely unhelpful. I contacted them several times, but they kept avoiding responsibility and refused to process the return. disappointed with both the product and the customer service.

Great Hub
I bought this hub in order to connect a new laptop to a larger monitor. It was very easy to set up. It gives me a lot more versatility when using my laptop in that I will have multiple screens. I highly recommend this hub.

I bought this and it works great on my HP work laptop HOWEVER I can not get it to recognize both monitors on my 2020 MacBook Pro. It clones the display on both monitors and inside System Pref > Display it only lists one of the monitors. Any Suggestions?
The 2020 13 inch MacBook Pro with the M1 processor only supports 1 external monitor via USB-C / Thunderbolt. Newer models with the M1 Pro or Max will support more. I have the same behavior with this laptop using other USB-C docks/hubs, and it is a limitation of the 2020 M1 13" MacBook.

This Hub provides 65W max combined power output when using a 90W charger and charging multiple devices. Passthrough charging requires a notebook or tablet with USB-C® AC adapter. This product does not include an AC adapter.

I did order HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub, and I have two HP all-in-one desktop computers. Does HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub work to connect two computer in one screen? I do not how to say specific but I want to use just one Mouse and one keyboard
Sounds like you need a KVM switch. You can find them online with a variety of features, and support for multiple computers (desktop and laptop). A basic and reliable unit can be found for ~$50.

Thank you for your question! The 15-dy2073dx does not feature the proper port to be compatible with HP Docks or Hubs. A Thunderbolt Port or USB-C Port with Power Delivery and DisplayPort capabilities is required for compatibility.

What power cord is required to power this device since it did not come with one?
The HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub for business is designed to use the USB-C charger that came with a compatible laptop. If your laptop did not come with a USB-C charger the Hub may not be fully compatible. This HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub needs a 90W USB-C charger to provide power to the Hub and the connected device.
