I don't really game that much

enough good
I felt like this gear is enough good to use as a workstation, particularly when performing photo edition. I was satisfied with the fancy features providing quiet and fast and seamless operation. Besides, I was happy being able to purchase this item at the Black Friday Sales Discount, about 30% less than a normal price. I hope I will love this OMEN 16L equipped with Ultra 7 and RTX 5060 as long as several years from now on.

Quiet - working as expected but not blown away
The desktop is quiet and fast to boot up. I miss the slots for the SD Card adaptor and have found I am using most of the ports on the front. I have seen some unexpected lag but that may be tied to my internet connection more than this desktop because I primarily have just been using it for browsing, emails, and Access.

Setup Problems
Once I figured out how to set up the Omen, it's delivers the sort of performance I'd hoped for. On the set-up though, (a) the manual is useless, (b) the onscreen prompts deal entirely with entering into a long-term, abiding relationship with HP and MS, (c) a call to the HP help/support line simply to ask how can I make the icons, time & date LARGER, was unavailing (I answered all the questions, the foreign support servicemember answered NONE of mine.

Horrible Machine...and Company
Horrible machine, and company. I purchased this to edit videos...high-def videos, not even 4k...it would freeze sometimes as often as every 5 mins...so much that I had to manually turn it off and on, which I never like to do. And trying to get my money back? Let's just say they didn't make it easy. Never again, HP. If you need this pc to receive mail and write documents, go ahead a take a chance.

Not bad for $850
If you want a serious gaming computer, keep looking. This one is good for the discounted price, though. I would not pay the full list price. I needed a quick replacement for my niece's computer, and this does work well for her needs: school work, Roblox, The Sims, and watching videos. Easy to set up and does what it's supposed to do.

No better value in gaming PC for the money.
HUGE value and extremely powerful for in depth roblox games. You can buy a used $500 five yr old gaming desktop on FB mktplace, or you can buy a NEW HP OMEN 16L from HP for almost the same money. I actually did both. I'll never buy used again. HP has been my goto for 20 yrs so I should have known better. My teenager LOVES this machine. Thank you HP!!

A really smooth system for the price
I actually really love this as a prebuilt system. I got all the upgrades during a sale and got this thing down to a really good price. The performance is so good imo. Is it going to impress a person who thinks 5090 is the only way to live? No, but normal people will be impressed. The omen gui app is real nice too. I have zero regrets getting this thing. Now if it breaks in a year I’m gonna be miffed.

Defective day one.
I have been an HP Customer for over 20 years. My first computer was a Hewlett-Packard. I’ve owned about 4 to 5 HP computers and they were all great. Five years ago I bought a new one and I had issues from the first day HP fixed it and I kept the computer for 5 years without any issues. My five year-old PC was very slow so I figured I would upgrade to a more modern computer. This gaming PC checked all the boxes. I customize it and it took about three weeks to get as soon as I received it. I turned it on started adding my Microsoft office, Norton, etc.. I noticed that there was a very loud sound coming from the computer fan. I called HP and they told me to place another order and send this one back. That’s where my frustration grew to the point of no return. Customer service made it so difficult to re-order the same computer and they tried to upsell me to a $2000 model. Something that I did not need nor did I want. I ended up returning this computer and I purchased a Alienware and it is so much better than this HP. I used to love everything HP, but Dell is so much better in terms of quality and build. HP could have fixed this situation fairly quickly and easily, but they decided to give me a hard time so they lost a longtime customer. A customer who has two young children that will be going to college in the next couple of years and will need laptops and desktops unfortunately Customer service ruins companies when they are not educated properly.

Best. Purchase. Ever.

Awesome Desktop Computer
I bought this computer not because I'm a gamer but because I was tired of using computers that underperformed. With 32GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD it has been a delight to finally be able to quickly get things done. I do lots of intensive Excel spreadsheets that can bog a system down and so far it has performed beyond expectations. I'm still getting familiar with the different operating system. I had switched from an Imac to HP with microsoft OS and I must confess I am loving Co-Pilot . The A.I. is so fast at answering all my questions and creating information I needed. It helped me debug a problem with Outlook that I'm still waiting on a fix for but overall except for Outlook I am thrilled with the purchase. Set up was a breeze and took only minutes to set up. I was surprised they provide some gaming free subscriptions for a period of time that I probably won't take advantage of but that was nice to include.

Can't play what I want on a gaming PC
tried playing a game called Path of Exile and the gpu crashed, start up is now taking a few minutes to start up and everything is starting to be laggy. Only had the PC for 3 months and already starting to look to see if I can return this one and get a new PC elsewhere.
