Sound is horrible.
The sound volume and quality is horrible. Forget about playing music on this monitors “built in speaker” that we paid extra for. It sounds like a 1070’s transistor radio.

27 Inch Monitor Needs More Resolution Than HD
Unhappy with resolution which causes eye strain. 27 inch screen needs more than standard HD. Another brand 27 inch 4K monitor works well. Will probably replace.

Buttons do not work
The buttons on one of the screens do not work. I've called HP rep but keep getting transfer to diff department. I ordered 2 identical screens, one works perfectly but the other one does not.

Nice 27" Monitors at a Great Price. These are my 2nd set of HP 27" monitors & they still work great
So far, both of my 27" monitors are performing nicely. They have great color contrast and they do reduce the glare of the screens. If these last as long as other HP monitors I have purchased, I will be very pleased. Candidly, I have never had any issues with any of my previous HP monitors. The 21" still works great and the 2 previous 27" monitors, which I have used every day for the last 9 years, still work like the first day I hooked them up. Keep up the great quality and durability HP and thank you for building great products

It didn’t work right out of the box
It didn’t work. I spent three hours on the phone with HP support before. They finally agreed to send me a replacement item. Of course I had to return the one that didn’t work before they would send out a new one. Very poor customer service.

Monitor screen cracked as soon as installed.
I'm sorry to say but the monitor from HP is a piece of junk. I installed the monitor as per instructions. In placing the monitor on the desk top it bumped something and just broke the screen all to pieces. I had to replace it with one of my old Dell monitors that is still working well even after four or or so.
I know that HP won't replace the monitor so I'm not even going to bother. I will try for a monitor replacement from HP but confidence is not high. I will let you knnow.

Light Use Monitor
I never got to use it. It arrived with a cracked screen. I don't blame HP, but I wish they would not use shipper that starts withan "F" and ends with an "X". I also blame myself, as at this price you will not get a robust, work place ready monitor. This might work for light home use.

Not recommend this product 527SH
I like to the thin screen and light weight. However, because of the thin screen, the monitor was very fragile. I received the delivery from FedEx and it was already broken. I had to return to HP the same day. I ended up buying a different HP model, 27MQ. I wish HP can make the thin+light monitor that is more durable, especially by the time I am shopping for 30+ inch in the future..
