I've always been extremely satisfied with it's quality and reasonable pricing. Bought this one to upgrade the one I have at work. The one at work still performs great after about five years, but saw this awesome deal and figured it was time to upgrade. HP also has great customer support.

I have always had HP printers and every one was a champ lasting at least 10 years. So far after a couple weeks I am totally satisfied. The screen is beautiful, unit seems to be working great too. I took the plunge and got the windows 365 for it. It has a 15.5" touch screen which I enjoy for sitting in the chair or in bed. It also folds back like a tablet which i am really enjoying too. So far I would totally recommend this computer.

The only thing keeping this from a 5th star is the propensity to occasionally get pretty hot and the touchpad sensitivity being a little hard to get adjusted just right. Otherwise this is probably a 4.5 star to be honest - great machine!

I like the touch screen; it gives my arthritic fingers a break from repetitive motion, and is a pleasure to use. This is for home use, for research and prose writing, for email, and zoom, etc.

I miss having a number pad, but use an external keyboard much of the time. (The Bang & Olufsen audio system sounds better than any laptop I've owned - so probably a worthy trade-off!)

Rated 1 out of 5 by Imgpark from Defective hardware Never buy the ENVY product! This is my 2nd ENVY. The previous one i used for 4 yrs. But suddenly the power button didn't work. I assumed that the problem occurrd because I used the product too long. Thus I purchased the ENVY product again because i got used to the ENVY, and i didn't want to waste my time to get familiar with another product system. BUT withint one month from using the new ENVY product, the same problem occured!! Warranty?? If you use your laptop only for fun, you may be able to wait for 8-10 business. But I am using a computer for my business, and I cannot bear this long processing time. After spending about three hours for contacting the HP for the defective product, i got exhausted. Do not buy the ENVY if you need to use it for busines or study because this product may seriously delay your business or study with sudden power problem, which I experience twice within one month!!!

Just a couple days after I made this purchase, I contacted HP.com to ask what Pen would be compatible with my new device. So I ordered the Pen that was recommended. Once I received the Pen, it would not work with the laptop, so I spent over 3 hours on the phone with tech support. They made me do a factory reset, erasing everything I had set up over the previous week. They were unable to fix the problem and informed me that there was an issue with the laptop, not the Pen. And they instructed me to exchange the device for a replacement. So the next day I contacted sales support, they kept me engaged in a chat for 30 minutes to then tell me that the computer is fine, but the recommended Pen was not compatible with my laptop. How is it that sales support was able to figure that out in 30 minutes, but tech support could not in over 3 hours? So in addition to the hours I lost troubleshooting an issue that was recommended by HP, I also spent numerous hours reinstalling and relinking my accounts and apps to the new computer, again. This has probably been the worst retail experience I have ever had. I am looking for a Laptop from either Lenovo or Dell before I return this for a refund.

The battery life is pretty good and charging through a usb-c port instead of some random sized cable is a plus. It is a little heavier than I thought but not overly so. Getting anything on the EVO platform isn't a bad idea.

I have not set up the computer yet, but right off the bat I am disappointed. Next time I will contact sales before purchasing in order to ensure I understand what I am getting. I realize it is a small item, but I was planning on using it. Hopefully the computer works well. I had my last Envy for 6+ years and just recently the system failed to the point of no return so I'm hoping this one lasts for the same or longer.

The laptop has bad speakers, and often sounds muffled. The battery does not last as long as the 5 year old laptop I have. The laptop also gets extremely smudged with fingerprints. I honestly might have kept it at the $300-$400 price range. But it is worth nowhere near what they are selling it for.

There is something I dont like, i'd like it had a better batery capacity. That is not something new for me, as i hope it due to it has a 1260P processor which has one of the top performance in all the 12th generation of core i7, it's like the Sport version of a car. So you must to consider this point at the moment of your choise, evaluate your real needs, because if its relevant spec if about autonomy and batery capacity, you have other options in the 12th generation of core i7- Nevertheless, you must reduce you system performance.

Why there's no option to add in the microsoft office?

This HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 Laptop 15-ew0797nr comes with a free trial version of Microsoft 365. If a different version of office is required, just go to the Windows store and download the software from there. If you own the software already you can type in your product key during installation.
