    Rated 4 out of 5 by Brianna. from Prettiest monitor Ordered the HP 34m G4 WQHD Curved USB-C monitor for work purposes. I needed something ergonomic friendly and find a curved wide monitor works well because I don't have to turn my head so much and can face forward. Using two separate monitors caused pain in my neck from having to turn to each screen and not maintain facing forward. With the monitor I can have multiple windows up at a time and view all of them without having to click through, so it makes my work process much more efficient. I also love that it has a speaker built-in and camera that you can pop-up for meetings. The only negatives I'd say are it's heavy and I have had the speaker stop working for two days randomly when no settings were changed (thus why 4stars), then by the third day I started working and hasn't stopped since so maybe it can be faulty at times. Still, I love the monitor, it's got a very pretty aesthetic compared to other monitors and is sturdy. Note: My desk is 48inches wide in my picture for reference to how wide the monitor is and I'm using it with a Dell laptop computer from my employer. All you have to do is plug in the USB-C to your laptop and monitor and you're good to go.

Had a couple of hiccups at first with sound settings and volume that wouldn’t adjust. Figured out that if I connect the Ethernet directly into my laptop instead of going through the monitor that resolved the sound issue and a couple other annoyances. . Highly recommend it though.

    Thanks for the quick reply! You wrote: "the DisplayPort USB-C port must be used". I don't understand, as these are 2 different ports. Please clarify. My primary PC is connected to the monitor via the USB-C port. Do I also need the HP Displayport cable connected from the primary? How will the 2nd PC connect? Please provide complete details or a link to a page with instructions on how to correctly set this up and use it. The KVM feature is one of the primary reasons I chose this monitor. Instructions on how it works would be awesome!

    Can the MAC address of the monitor be registered with a "host database" (DHCP) to allow for easy connection of unknown laptops to a VLAN or do they only function in a a "MAC address pass through" mode, using MAC address of the connected laptop/computer

    does the usb-c connection support display input and power delivery? I'm wanting to charge my laptop and display through the same cable.
