Rated 1 out of 5 by from This Laptop has got Quality Issues The first Spectre Laptop that I received was DOA (Defective on Arrival), Touchpad was not working. After much effort by me, HP finally Replaced the Laptop with a new one. The Replacement Laptop is fine except that the Laptop Lid Sensor is not working - that is the display does not go off when one closes the lid of the Laptop. Both the first and second Laptops received by me had hardware issues. Obviously the quality control of HP in its manufacturing facility is poor as two brand new factory sealed laptops have some hardware defect or the other. Though, I have been a loyal HP Laptop customer for close to 40 years, based on my recent experience, I recommend that customers be wary of buying HP Laptops.

There is no proper response from the support team regarding replacement of the defective piece. Need to do lot of followup every day to know the status of the process and still no progress.

Can the laptop support 3D modelling software like revit? Rendering part I can do on my desktop. But I need to do the modelling part on the laptop. How much can it handle after effects? Can it handle screen recording

This laptop has lot of complaints wrt hinges, keys not working properly as I see from latest reviews. Should we consider it for buying assuming that these issues are fixed? or should we look out for another model in HP? please respond.
