Free delivery on orders over $50

HP Online Store delivers free of charge on all orders over $50. If your order totals less than $50 your order will incur a small delivery charge of $7.95.

Fast deliveries

Your order will be dispatched on the next working day from receipt of your order acceptance confirmation (you’ll receive this via email after we’ve performed the necessary security checks). Our deliveries take place on working days, being Mondays to Fridays only (excluding public holidays).

Typically, you should expect to receive delivery of your order Next Business Day, however for rural, within the Islands or between the Islands delivery will normally be within 2-4 working days. These times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that currently we do not ship to P.O. boxes or internationally.

Deliveries to Business addresses

If your order is being delivered to a business address, please be advised that our carrier will deliver to a mailroom or reception area and will request a signature from the reception/mailroom contact. Our carrier does not require a signature specific to the named contact on the order details.

Orders dispatch

Please note we may dispatch individual items from our warehouse at different times, so you may receive your order in multiple deliveries. If you require an item urgently, please do not combine your order with an item showing an extended delivery time.

Please remember that all our deliveries will require a signature.

Estimated delivery dates

Shipping estimates on our website give an indication of when the item will be dispatched from our warehouse for delivery. For example, items that show:

  • “In stock”are estimated to be dispatched for delivery from our warehouse on the next working day after order acceptance confirmation. Orders must be in prior to 2pm.
  • “Ships in 14 – 28 business days”are products which are not immediately available from local stock, and ship from our factories. Please note this is an approximate shipping date only.

Currently we offer next business day delivery on orders being shipped nationwide. Other locations including rural, within Islands and between Islands, delivery times vary between 2-4 business days.

Holiday Order Cut-off Deadline and Key Delivery Dates

The HP Store team and our Delivery partners are working diligently to meet the increased customer demand for our products this season. Our website reflects current product availability, but circumstances are dynamic.

To ensure that the people on your gift list won’t be disappointed, we encourage you to complete your holiday shopping early this season.

The final day to order your product for delivery prior to 25th December, is Tuesday, 17th December, 2023.

How to change or cancel an order

If you need to cancel, make a change or notice a mistake on an order please contact the HP Customer Support Team.

Unfortunately, we are unable to add additional items to an existing order once processed. If you’d like to purchase extra items, either place a new order via our website or contact the HP Contact Centre Team:

We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround time and this means there is only a small window to cancel your order before it ships. Although we will try our best to assist you, we cannot guarantee we will be able to cancel your order in time.

Orders that have already been processed cannot be cancelled; they must be returned to HP. For more information about returns, please read our HP Store Returns Policy.

Refund process if your order has not shipped.

Credit Card Orders

If you have paid for your order with a credit card, no refund is necessary as your credit card has not been debited. We only take payment when we dispatch your order but your bank may have reserved these funds as a pre-authorisation. Your money will be visible on your account within a few days subject to your credit card provider’s policy.

Paypal Orders

If you have paid for your order with PayPal, we will refund your account after the cancellation is processed. The funds should appear back into your bank account within 5 business days subject to standard banking practice.

Gift Card & Prepaid Visa Card Orders

If you have paid for your order with a prepaid Visa card or HP gift card to make a purchase on the HP online store only, please retain the physical card as the funds will need to be credited back onto the same card. In case of a lost/stolen or discarded card HP will not be liable for processing a refund to alternate account or card. A new card can be issued by HP for an additional fee of $25 to the customer.

Direct Debit & Purchase Orders

If you have paid with direct debit or purchase order, we will refund your account after the cancellation has been processed/confirmed. Please provide your Bank Details to our Post Sales team in order for us to proceed with your refund: Account Holder Name | BSB | Account Number. Please note it can take up to 5 working days for the funds to be back into your account once processed. This timeline is indicative and dependent on your bank.

Refund process if your order has shipped

If you have requested a return of your purchased items and you are expecting a refund, please note that HP will execute the refund as soon as the goods are back into our warehouse.

Credit card Orders:

Once we receive your returned goods we will process your refund and the funds should appear back into your bank account within 5 business days. If the Credit Card used for your purchase is no longer valid, you will need to supply us with your bank details (account holder name, BSB and Account Number) so we can execute the refund via a wire transfer.

PayPal Orders:

Once we receive your returned goods we will process your refund and the funds should appear back into your account within 5 business days.

Direct Debit and Purchase Orders:

Please provide our Post Sales team with your valid bank details: account holder name, BSB and Account Number to allow us to execute your refund in a timely manner.
Standard banking practice dictates that the funds should appear back into your bank account within 5 business days from the moment HP has executed the refund.

GST Exemption refunds

If you have a requirement to claim back GST you must provide HP with GST exemption certificate.

  • HP GST department will check your eligibility based on the provided certificate.
  • If you are eligible to GST exemption, HP will credit your invoice charged with the local GST and rebill you without GST. If you paid the original invoice with local GST, HP will refund the local GST to you.

Gift Card & Prepaid Visa Card Orders:

Once we receive your returned goods we will process your refund and the funds will be credited back onto the same gift card or prepaid visa card. In case of a lost/stolen or discarded gift card or prepaid Visa card HP will not be liable for processing a refund to alternate accounts or cards. A new card can be issued by HP for an additional fee of $25 to the customer.

How long will an item remain in my cart?

Damaged & Replace

Damaged Product or Box

In the unfortunate event that you receive a damaged product don’t worry.

Firstly, please be sure to note and outline any damage on the delivery note supplied by our carrier.

To help us fix the situation as quickly as possible please call our Post Sales team within 14 days of receipt of your order 0800 854 848 (Option 1)

Please provide as much detail as possible:

  • Is the damage visible on the product before or after opening?

  • Was the box/equipment damaged?

  • Provide photographic evidence of the damage.

HP will arrange to collect the goods at a convenient date and once returned back to our warehouse and assessed HP will ship you a replacement or give you a refund.

Defective Item

If you’re unfortunate enough to receive a defective product please contact our Technical Support Team on 0800 441 147 as soon as possible (no more than 30 days after delivery) who may be able to quickly resolve/fix the defect without need for return.

If Technical Support are unable to resolve your issue the agent will provide you with a case ID/Authorisation number. You can then speak to our Post Sales team using the contact details below and they will be able to process your claim for refund or replacement of your product.

1. Definitions:

“Eligible Product” means any HP notebook, personal computer (PC) or workstation that have been included in this promotion. Please refer to promo page for eligible product list. Any products not present in the list are not part of the promotion & will not be eligible for a gift card redemption.

The following products are excluded from this promo –

• Excludes Omen, Omen X
• Excludes Probook 250 series, Prodesk 400 series, 280 series, ProOne 400 series

"Participant" means a resident of, or business trading in, New Zealand who purchases an Eligible Product from the HP Online Store during the Promotional Period and is the End User of that Product. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, resellers of HP products and any agencies associated with this Promotion, their employees and those employees’ immediate families are ineligible to participate.

HP Online Store means the web store located at www.hp.com/au-nz/store

12. Liability for any tax on any prizes provided to Participants pursuant to this Promotion shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant. It is recommended that Participants should contact their own accountant or taxation advisor in this regard.

13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), or for a personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participation in this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

14. All claims become the property of the Promoter. Use of Voucher codes

Please enter the e-voucher code without any spaces in the E-Voucher field during your order checkout.

Only one e-voucher code can be used at a time. Multiple offers or codes cannot be stacked/applied at checkout.

Each e-voucher code has a pre-determined & specified minimum spend needed to qualify for the discount. Please ensure your order meets the minimum spend requirement.

Some campaigns may have e-vouchers applicable to specific eligible product. Please make sure the correct e-voucher code is used for the correct product purchase. Please check Terms and Conditions for each campaign/offer.

HP Care Pack Services for HP Products

HP Care Pack services provide an enhanced level support and / or an extended period of cover for your HP equipment.

You can find our available HP Care Pack services including a detailed service description and applicable terms and conditions in the HP Care Pack Central web


It is essential to register your HP Care Pack at the earliest opportunity as this action notifies HP that the support agreement is active and provides HP with important information about your HP hardware product.

You will receive your carepack registration request via email to your registered email address.

If you purchase your carepack on the same order with the hardware HP will automatically register your carepack but you should check all details are correct.

If you purchase your carepack separately it is important that you register as soon as possible (you will need your serial number for the associated hardware to do this).

Consumer statutory rights are not limited or affected in any manner by HP Care Pack.
