Lack of transparency in the parts replacement process
HP does not share details of the part being replaced (serial number or equivalent) at the time of shipment, and there is no way for a customer to verify whether the part being replaced is genuine or not.

Very bad customer support
No update on the purchase done. Still the neither got call from service Center nor the product has been delivered. The call support Center asking to send email, and email support Center is asking to call. WhatsApp support never response. My 10k bugs has got lost and stolen by hp.

Poor Service
i have not received the battery as the technician came to me with a battery which is not supported and detected by my laptop. and technically its not right fit for my laptop and top of that they are not even able to detect and fix the things.
this is really frustrating and pathetic experience i had with HP after purchasing a high end model.

They take the faulty parts with them even in out-of-warranty items
Even after purchasing this must costly parts (in my case battery for INR 8000), still there is so much issues I faced in battery replacement. Initially service engineer checked with his senior and denied replacement saying he needs the original hp faulty battery. I checked with customer care and convinced the local technical team that this is not required in paid/out-of-warranty products. At the second time, the service engineer still insisted asking for the third party battery which I had inside my laptop. Since this is a paid/out-of-warranty service, they shouldn't be asking for my damaged parts.

Battery Issue - not charging while laptop is switched on
Well upon filing my service request, I first received phone calls from the HP service and it was attempted to solve my problem by the service engineer remotely. We did that in 3 to 4 sittings; however the problem was not resolved. Finally the service engineer recommended that I replace the battery. So I clicked on the payment link, made the payment and waited for the battery to be replaced. The local service provider brought the new battery after a wait of 7 days. WHen he was replacing, he found that the problem of charging of the battery only when it was in shut down condition or display closed condition, persisted. So the battery was not getting charged while the laptop was switched on. He tried to solve the problem but could not. Finally he put back the old battery and took the new battery with him and assured that the problem will be resolved with senior technical experts giving their inputs ... so it has been almost a week since then, I have already paid for the new battery, but it is not put in the computer and the problem of charging only when the computer is switched off is persisting !!!! PLEASE HELP me Mr.,HP !!!

Horrible customer service.
Absolutely pathetic experience. Paid for the part and then received no updates about its status beyond confirmation of payment. It has been 11 days and I haven't received the battery yet, and I live in the natonal capital. Can't imagine the plight of those in non-metro areas.
The tracking link sent by HP doesnt work.
No option to talk to the customer service over phone either. They've redurected it to a Whatsapp chat where all they do is send automated messages or the representatives send pre-typed roundabout messages which don't address the question being raised and only speaks of how "sorry" they are. It's just annoying and frustrating.
The customer has been reduced to begging the service executives for a date on the arrival, and it's not being answered either.
HP, you've fallen too low.

Pathetic service, never ever buy an HP product
Extremely pathetic services. My battery is not uet replaced despite so much follow up with HP authorities. I paid hundred percent advance money to HP. My wait is not over uet even after more then 22 days of my complaint.

Call Center service is horrible
I appreciate the service provided by the person who installed the battery. However the call center is very painful. I must have made around 20 phone calls. Sales team routes me to post sales team and they in turn routes me to Tech Support team. Tech support team again routes me to Sales. So, Its infinite loop. Highlight is I requested for escalation contact. Then Mr. Vaibhav came online and told me that I did not ordered battery at all. I tried to explain stating that my order includes battery as well as onsite visit for installation. I have been HP Customer for 2 decades. All the products printer and laptop working very well. However this service experience made me to google alternative products for future use.

Worst product and service. Shipped 2 yrs old laptop battery.
I received batter which has manufacturing date Jun-2021. Shelf life of battery is 6 months and HP provided 2 years old laptop battery at the cost of INR 9,999.00
Support executive hanged the call and suggested to discuss the matter with PAM.
Worst product and support from HP. Highly disappointed.
I want to cancel my order and immediate full refund.

Genuine HP product. Time will tell the longevity and durability though.
Good genuine product (although time will tell it's credibility, it's been a month only yet), although a little bit difficult to find and navigate it on hp website. The costs are hidden and shared through quote, which is something not too much comfortable. Don't know if the prices are inflated or above market prices.

2020 manufactured battery replaced 2023
I am yet to observe but battery shelf time starts from manufactured date technically.. please correct me if it is wrong.. I was expecting atleast replacement battery in 2023..

I totally agree with you. Laptop batteries usually only last from 2 to 4 years, which amounts to about 1,000 charges. However, there are a few factors that determine how long a battery will last before it finally gives out: The material that the laptop battery is made from.

Make it available in store, provide more warenty
Kindly make it available also in store I was searching for the correct batteries for more than month , 90 days is a very less warenty for the premium paid. Many older batteries cost significantly less (1/3rd) for similar size. Technician must bring the spare in original package and not in a loose polythene. Lot of calls required for confirmation about the spare details and it's availability as the quote was provided generic additional comments should be available detailing spareno and warenty details.
