Rated 1 out of 5 by from Recommended by HPs own app then not honored [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP Support Assistant, which must exist merely to support HP’s balance sheet like Instant Ink, recommended this for me, as my warranty had recently ended. A no-brainer right? I purchased an upgraded version from the recommendation, with next business day on site service, and provided my serial number. That’s easy! Right? A few days later the “shipped” status said the details of the CarePaq had been emailed to me. Not so, and I’ve still never seen it nor a CarePaq number for my purchase. But not to worry, the support folks can look that up. Which they did. The CarePaq I bought, solely at the recommendation of HP’s own software, approved on HP’s own web site is — you guessed it!! — not valid and won’t be honored. It seems I bought the extension outside of a 30 day window following the expiration of the original warranty. But didn’t you know this, HP? Obviously, since you can tell me it’s not valid now that I have a service issue. Cute. I mean, my credit card was valid and certainly honored at the time I used it to give money to HP for apparently no reason. That’s more than I can say for HP’s promise to deliver something, anything really, now that I actually need it. Shame on you people. This is downright theft.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Deeply Disappointed in Customer Care. I am so disappointed. I just spent 1 hour and 2 minutes getting bounced from department to department to answer a silly question. I have a case # 5059102419. Two of the 6 technicians were helpful and supportive. The others just passed me along - ending up at the Care Pack Registration gulag email which is full.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible process Can't use it! We bought business Care Packs, register them, and waited 6 weeks - only to have them NEVER show up as registered. We are working with the Care Pack escalations team now to fix. What a hassle!!! They should register the product for you at the time of purchase.
