It's compact enough to fit on a shelf on my built-in bookcase. My eyesight prefers reading hard copy and because I don't need colour, it's perfect. Fabulous price.

The only issues was establishing A4 the default paper size but its now resolved. The speed and quality of the print is very good and the scanner function works flawlessly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Annoyed x10 from Avoid it - it's a dog This is a absolute dog of a device. I suggest you avoid it - I so wish I had. It just will not stay connected on wifi. It can be almost impossible to get online. My wifi system is not at fault; other devices connect, work and stay connected without any problems like this HP device serves up. If this HP brute runs out of paper, most times it will not reconnect. It has the silliest, small control dashboard. I waste so much time trying to get it to work. I was a fan of HP but this has me running away as a customer. It is so, so frustrating and disappointing. Maybe I have a one in a million problem - but HP help has been of no help to me.

It’s efficient as I can have the print jobs done through the smartphone, my computer or the hp app. This machine is ideal for my editing tasks too. Whenever I need hard copies for editing, again speed is important and the printer works fast and efficiently. Easy to use and efficient.

It constantly tells me that the printer has not installed corrected, I have uninstalled and reinstalled so many times I lost count. The only way I can print is through my phone or tablet. When this works, the quality is good and prints pretty quickly.

Hi, what is the depth/width of the printer without the paper tray loaded? I have a desk cavity that is 36cm wide but have a hole for where the paper tray could go through? The specs on the website lists 'dimensions without stand' but can't see any stands?
